February 29, 20XV - unknown, somewhere- El

Aug 29, 2017

I woke up in the dark. The room felt damp. I have no clue what's going on. Even though I've been asleep I can't see much. I looked around and heard something moving in the dark. Please don't be a rat. "He-hello..?" I called out quietly. "Shhh.." a woman's voice hushed me from the dark. "He will hear you.." she said quietly. "W-" "who else.. come over hear." She said quietly. I crawled over to the voice. For some reason my ankle hurt more than normally. But I was more focused on finding this woman I heard. My wrist was then grabbed and I was tugged forward. I could just barely make out her face in the dark. It was just inches from mine. It was obvious she was crazy and she was older than even Tearin. She looked almost like she could be his mom. Ah who am I kidding it probably was his mom. "W.. what's happening.." he asked confused and scared. "You upset him pretty bad. I can just tell by you're face." He said quietly. "Huh..?" "It's quite bruised." She said with a small grin. "If you just do what he wants I'm sure you can go back where you came from." I scoffed and pulled away from her. I knew she meant back to that small room I was on before. "I just want to go home." I said scrunching my eyebrows together. She then chuckled. "Sweet heart the place you came from is better than here at least." She said reaching out and cupping my face. I smacked her hand away and the smack echoed through the room. We both froze. And when we heard a creak of the door we both flinched.

Tearin began to march down the stairs and I could see the room a bit clearer from the light that bounced around the room from the stairs. It was just a dark basement that was definitely not a livable place. There were shelves and let's just say when you see legs poking out from behind then the shelves it doesn't make you feel that safe. "What happened here..?" Tearin's voice made my eyes bounce back to him.

"N.. nothing.." I said quietly.

""Did she touch you..?" Tearin said before his eyes slowly lifted to the woman who had her back pressed to the wall.

"No I-I didn't." She said in fear.

"Don't lie." Tearin said as he picked something up. I couldn't tell what it was exactly but I could tell it was sharp and wasn't a safe thing for a psycho like Tearin to have. I used my arms and legs to try and get up but the sting in my ankle hurt to bad so I just lunged at him catching his arm.

"St-stop please." I begged quietly. "S-she didn't touch me.. I-I swear." My voice trembled without me wanting it to. "Please.." I begged for the woman who was already begging herself. Tearin put the object back down a squatted next to me. He then lifted my head.

"Are you telling me the truth?"

I gave him a nod. "O-of course. W-why w-would I lie?" I asked. "Please just stop." Tearin gave a small smile. An eerie, terrifying smile.

"I'll always trust you."

His words twisted out like snakes and left a horrible and terrible fear in my soul. It wasn't like he was just saying he trusted me it was like he was saying he would kill for me. That was scary.

He then stood. "But you're too sweet for you're own good. You lie because you think her life is more important than it is." He said picking the object up. "Not only that but you gave me a great idea to punish you." I began to tremble. Not because he turned to me with that odd sharp object but because his back turned towards me. The woman cried out again. "Please please.."

I'll spare you of the gruesome details but let's just say she wouldn't be walking again.

I trembled silently the whole time in fear. Tearin then came over to me and cupped my cheek with his bloody hand and lifted my face to look at his blood stained one. "We aren't going to disobey anymore are we."

I hadn't noticed but tears were falling down my face. I shook my head when he asked me. It was instant and I don't regret it.. much. But I wanted to keep that woman safe. Tearin then lifted me up and began to carry me up the stairs. "W-wait.. don't let her die.." he said in a squeak.

He gave a small chuckle. "If that's what you want dear.." the blinding morning light made my close my eyes. When they adjusted I could only make out small things like a chicken coop and the couch it was too bright to make out too much more. He carried me up the stairs and then set me on the second floor. If I wanted I could have probably crawled over to the stairs and escaped onto the street and called out for help but I knew what would have happened to that woman if I did. So I waited, like a good little prisoner. When he got the attic stairs down he turned around and carrying me up them.

He took me to a bookshelf and set me down again to pull the book shelf over and to show the door I was most familiar with. He unlocked the pad lock and entered a code before he lifted me up and carried me into the room. This time instead of the hard floor he set me onto the bed. "I'll be back in about an hour. stay here." He said before exiting and closing the door behind him.
