My thoughts of the past.

The things I said.

They all came up at once.

I didn't know how to handle all these feelings.

“Of course. I will always stay by your side.”

It has been such a long time.

My whole body trembled.

My hands were shaking.

Arms wrapped around me.

Holding me tight.

I felt supported.

I felt comforted.

I felt safe.

“It's ok.”

These words pierced through my heart like an arrow.

Reloading.

“I'm here.”

Bulls-eye.

My legs were hardly hold me upright.

My chest hurt.

It felt so wonderful.

Hearing those words in his embrace made me feel love.

I cried.

I laughed.

Everything he did made me feel numb.

I forgot what love felt like.
