“Ah, don’t look so nervous, I’m not here to bully Fallen or Anchored. I’m actually here on an important mission, and I could use the help of those who live down here,” She looked around in a slightly over the top way that suggested she was playing with them a little, “But don’t tell anyone I’m here, okay? I was meant to be doing paper work, but these happenings recently have got me curious,” she paused midway during her thought train and looked at them both, “I don’t suppose you two know anything about the spate of recent human deaths, some of which have been very suspicious,” Azazel relaxed slightly. This Angel obviously didn’t know who they were, and certainly wasn’t there to hurt them. She reminded him so much of someone, he wracked his brain to work it out.
“Gabriel!” Azazel could see Damien and the other Angel looking at him strangely. He realised he just exclaimed out loud, “Uh, sorry, I just realised who you remind me of. You are very similar in looks and casual personality to Archangel Gabriel,” The strange Angel grinned, chuckling slightly to herself.
“I guess you could say me and Gabriel are similar,” She did a little twirl with her hand and took a bow, “I am Uriel, younger sister Angel of Gabriel and Archangel. Nice to meet you! And you are?” Azazel’s heart dropped a little bit back into his gut. Even if this Uriel wasn’t here for them, having an Archangel snooping about wasn’t the best of situations, even one that was apparently so young that she wasn’t even around when he was in Heaven. She might not recognise his face, but her brother would of definitely told her his name. Azazel was a very well known Fallen, if not by face. He returned Uriel’s bow with a mock bow of his own.
“Nice to meet you Uriel, my name is Azzy and this is Damon. We would love to help you but unfortunately we don’t know anything about what you have asked about,” Azazel could see Damien giving his friend a look, questioning what was going on. Before he could stop him, Damien had stepped forward.
“Erm, hi, Damon here. Are you talking about the humans that have died with their immune system burnt out?” Azazel inwardly groaned, willing Damien not to interact too much with this Angel. Damien was not meant to be known by Heaven. He wasn’t kidding himself that they were completely ignorant of his existence, but at the very least, Azazel was meant to keep him off the radar.
“My gosh, yes, that is exactly what I am talking about! Have you seen who was causing it?” Uriel leaned in a little too eagerly, excited to of found a lead, or even any information about what was happening. Azazel frowned, knowing what they were talking about but not wanted to become too useful.
“I’m afraid I haven’t found the culprits. Demons that I’ve caught and killed have no information, apart from being slightly more terrified than usual,” Uriel sighed and threw her hands up in the air.
“It’s the same with the ones I find, they seem to know what is going on but they are too scared of something else to tell me anything. What’s more terrifying than an Archangel? I don’t think Lucifer is behind it, but that seems to be the only valid option right now,” Damien and Azazel visibly tensed at the sound of Lucifer’s name, but Uriel didn’t seem to notice. She was too busy frowning off into the distance, arms crossed, trying to figure things out.
