Lake Greenville is name after the the town that is under it, Greenville. The mayor of Greenville sold the town to the state so they could make a man made lake. They kicked everyone out of their homes and started to build the dam. They destroyed most of the buildings but left a lot of them standing. Boats have to be careful when they anchor, a lot have lost them since they get stuck on buildings.

My uncle says that there is a cemetery under the lake too, said that they didn’t move the bodies say it would cost too much. He said if I swim late at night, the people will come up and drag me down to the bottom. Making me to suffer just like them, punishing me for having fun in their grave. I don’t really think it is true, I think he is trying to scare me. I swim late all the time and I never been grabbed at. The moon is full tonight I might go for a swim.
