I walked silently through the dark forest on the path that leads to my log cabin from Ari's house when I heard June howl. I paused as to look cautiously around my surroundings while waiting to see if she would release a second howl that would indicate that there was danger nearby. A few minutes later she did.

It didn't take long for me to rush towards my cabin to see which idiot excluding Ari would dare enter my territory. There was a dark silhouette standing before me but I managed to see who it was under the dimly lit moonlight, "well it didn't take you long to get here...big brother,"

My eyes narrowed at my identical twin brother. Well, we're almost identical since he still had the ugly scar I gave him on the left side of his cheek from the last time we fought. "What the hell are you doing here Julian?"

It took every fiber of my being to not lash out and smack the sinister smile right off his face. "Still cold as always I see, well I only came here to inform you that our mom..," his voice started to break, "passed away."

"So?" his eyes widen slightly before they returned back to normal, "what do you mean so? I know we both have our differences but dude she's our mom and becuase of her death dad is suffering. Don't you care about our family? Jabari..."

"DON'T YOU DARE SAY MY NAME!" I lept forward to deliver a punch which he barely blocked, "You guys abandoned me for ten years! Ten Years Julian! So why the hell would I care about any of you?" he struggled against me as I started to lean my weight against him, "and you dare come to me taking about family," I laughed bitterly, "what family Julian? If I had known I would have seen you again I should have let the fire consume you back then. I could have killed you and perhaps I should have..," I punched him in his gut with my other arm. He stumbled back but quickly recovered. "Don't you dare come back here again."

Except for the scar, looking at him is like looking at myself in the mirror . He's the one that tried to kill me for the sake of more power, even though as the first born I am the rightful heir. Now just becuase he's lonely he was trying to get me to care....pfft....like hell I will. "I swear I won't try anything funny and I can't guarantee that you won't see me again becuase I already enrolled in the school you're at."

My eyes narrowed, "Why? No hold on...how did you even find me?" 

"It was simply by chance...after I enrolled I was walking through the halls and I saw you walking with a pretty brunette with golden eyes."

"Just chill, okay. All I want is to start over," I held up my hand and point in the opposite direction of my cabin. "Get out of here now before I lose my temper," Julian was about to say something but thought otherwise since he walked in the direction of where I pointed. Fifteen minutes later I whistled to June. In mere seconds she was running towards me with her tougue hanging out at the side of her face. "Follow him and makes sure he leaves this forest, kill him if you have to," she let out a playful yelp as she and two other wolves ran silently towards Julian direction while I went into my cabin.
