Queen Mom is in her room staring at the view of the town from her window, she thinking about what she said to Little Darling and wished she hadn’t allow her to go without actual escorts. A knock on the door startled the queen for a while, “My queen, it’s The General,” she turned and take a seat on her chair nearby, “Do come in, General.” the door opened slowly and the tall, grey haired and had a beard that only a Viking would adore with an armor uniform steps inside, “Your Highness, you call?” he saluted, “Yes, General. I did. I want all your men get ready to head off to the Town of J’emy for the Market Fiesta, I want half of the men guarding the gate when Little Darling arrive at the town,” she commanded not looking at the General, “Yes, Your Highness, will that be all?” he stood there waiting for a response and shake her head, waving her hand. The General bowed and left the room at the same time Halia walks in.

“Your grace, is it wise for you just leave Little Darling to go to the Fiesta only be accompanied by that tentacle boy?”

“Of course not, Halia. I want you to send the finest spies everywhere but they have to be 100 feet away from Lili or she will never forgive me. I want the spies to… just watch her, if she’s in danger and don’t have the strength to fight, then, they have to help her.” the Queen said in motion.

“Will get that arranged, Your Highness.” Halia just stared at the Queen and responded, “Is there anything else bothering you, Your Grace?”

“Halia, am I...a good… Parent to Little Darling? I… I feel like i have done something bad and wrong to her. All these time i feel like I did well in being a parent to her, a great Auntie to her, but all these lies i kept from her… It doesn’t feel right,” she uttered in concern, “After, Sammie and Omma passed away, my only worries was what if Little Darling doesn’t like me, what if she actually going to leave me if she finds out the truth?”

“....” Halia did not spoke for a minute, “Is this about the call you receive from HIM?” he muttered, “I don’t want to say it but, Little Darling is a grown teenage girl that we all love, Your Highness. Queen Mom looked at Halia, her eyes glistens from the tears that she have been holding, she looked down to her arms and her earwings just grow bigger and turns into a blanket around her face.

Halia sighed, patted her back, “You stressing yourself, You need to rest, I’ll be seeing you in the morning, Your Grace.” Halia went to the door and left the queen to her own slumber.

Queen Mom took a last glance at the view of the town before pull the curtains and get to her bed.
