And of course, the most important thing you will need is water. The average human can survive for three days without water.
~ Make sure to always carry 2 litres with you because you never know how much you'll need.
~ If you notice the water is different than normal (a different colour or smell) don't drink it, it could be contaminated and could kill you.
~ If you really need water, you could get some from a lake or pond, but it's not the best option because it won't be very clean and could be contaminated with something. But, if it's safe, it could end up saving your life.
~ If you're low on water and it rains, be sure to leave something outside to collect the water instead of hiding in your shelter until it stops.
~ If you find someone who needs water, don't give them too much because it's very valuable. However, if it's someone who you know, be sure to give them some, but again, not too much.
~ Being dehydrated can make you lose concentration, give you headaches, make you irrational and make it harder to sleep- all things that could end up contributing to your survival.
~ If you happen to find an empty camp and see bottles of water, feel free to take a little, but not too much, other people need to survive too.
