A base is one of the most important things you'll need to survive because you won't last long in the streets. You need to stay somewhere that's well protected.

~ Don't go somewhere other people will want to stay because they might be willing to kill you for it. For example, don't make your base in a shop full of weapons because it's likely someone else will want what's inside.

~ Try to fortify the entrances and exits. In large groups, zombies will be able to break down doors and gates, leaving you open to attack.

~ Don't be too loud. If passing zombies hear you inside your base, they'll do everything they can to get inside.

~ Make sure you can trust everyone in your base. If you're not sure about someone, who's possibly new to your group, make sure to keep a close eye on them in case they do something suspicious.
