Micah Wood
“But he liked to think he was an alright person. Not great in any sense of the word, but maybe, just maybe, someone that his siblings could look up to someday when they realised why he did what he did."
What’s up? You can call me Myles, and I write for Micah Wood in the story But We Fall.
Micah is definitely an interesting character to write. Equal parts dad friend, lone wolf, and just ready to kick your ass if you look at him the wrong way. I admire his strength and stubbornness; his inability to back down from a challenge is both his strongest and weakest characteristic.
I hope the readers see that any person, whether it’s Micah or the readers themselves, are capable of doing good if they choose to and that they see that he’s more than just a fighter. He’s a human, who can love and feel pain and is more than just anger and wanting to fight.
I joined this project when I was approached with a pitch for a "secret project” that needed four co-authors. I jumped at the chance to try a large scale collaborative piece and so far it has not disappointed.
I’ve met authors that excel in their field, and that offer up the kind of perspective I alone could never bring to a piece.
I hope to see more projects like these in the future, and I hope to see that perhaps we even inspire a few collaborative pieces from those who read But We Fall. Until then, this is Myles, signing off.
