(Y/N)'s P.O.V

"Hey (F/N), what's up?" I asked while walking up to my best friend.

"OMG! (Y/N), you startled me. Uhhhh... I was thinking of asking out.. Um, your friend, Hyun Ryu?" She said while her face turned a redish pink color. My face turned pale, she was going to ask him out? Oh no... My eyes, they're watering... Shit.

"Are you okay? Your eyes got a bit-- glossy..." (F/N) asked while tilting her head. Luckily, my phone buzzed and I had to leave. Apparently it was an emergency...

Tears flowed from my eyes as I saw my friend hugging Hyun's arm, he was smiling too...

"Oh! Hey (Y/N)!" Hyun called, "I got a girlfriend now! Isn't that amazing! And she's wonderful too!". My eyes widened... 

"Thank you, honey~ You're more amazing than me though!~" (F/N) giggled and smiled at him. He blushed a little bit and hugged her. I looked down, took a deep breath, and broke the chances to be with him.

"Oh! Yeah, that's awesome! Especially since (F/N) really admired you from afar, she was so enchanted when she met you." I said, giving a very assuring fake smile.

"How do you know (F/N)?" Hyun asked, he looked over at me and gave a confused expression.

"She's my best friend, so of course I know her!" I exclaimed in a happy tone, I was making myself look happy for them... Ugh! That little princess always got what she wanted! It's not fair! I'm struggling to the top while she's getting carried... ARRGGG!!!

"Ah, I've got to go! See you later, Hyun! (F/N)!" I waved and started to walk back the way i came.

I ended up in my secret place in a secluded place, which was the forest that lined up behind the place I stayed at. My secret place was in the mountain, forest area. It truly was an amazing area.

"ARRRGHHHH!!!" I screamed in anger. Tears flooded my eyes and I screamed out once more. I was filled with anger, how could this bitch be better than me? She just walked her way onto his life and snatched him from my arms. I was there for him, I was with him in his hardest times... 

I was with him through a lot.

Oh, right, my phone. It's wonderful how I can get reception out here, though it is far away... Huh...

F/N - Hey! Did u hear that there's going 2 be a talent show at the school Thursday? I'm going 2 sign up, how about u? :DDDDDD

Me - Oh, sure. I'm going to sign up. is it this Thursday?

F/N - Yes. Do u want to work 2gether?

Me - No, but thanks for the offer, anyway.

F/N - Awww... :( I thought we could work 2 gether, I'll see you there anyway! BYEEEEE~~~

ARRRGGG! She's such a prick! I'm going to ruin her! I'm going to win on that talent show... I'll show her exactly why you shouldn't mess with me. If only I could control her! Then this wouldn't have happened! I should never have gotten friends, i knew this would happen! 

I screamed once more then covered my mouth, that hurt. I then left the place, I'd better start practicing what I'm going to do.

Today is the day. I've practiced my song, 'Are You Satisfied' by Marina and the Diamonds, and I'm all set. 

"HEYYY~ (Y/N)!" I heard from behind me, (F/N). 

"Oh, hello! Zen, (F/N), did you need something?" I asked politely.

"No, we just wanted to ask if you wanted to sit with us~" (F/N) said excitedly, Zen holding her waist...

"Um, sure." I mumbled. They started to lead the way to their seats, it was in front of the auditorium, the fourth row. I sat on the other side of Hyun.

"Hey, are you okay, (Y/N)?" Hyun asked while (F/N) was doing something on her phone.

"Oh, I'm just nervous, since I've a part in the talent show..." i whispered to him, since the talent show had started. (F/N) got off her phone at that moment.

"Ah, so that's why. Just know I'm always cheering for you." He winked at me then turned back to see the first contestant. I blushed then looked down at my lap, i sighed in defeat then looked at what was happening.

 The first person, they were amazing. Second person, they did well. Third, did really good. Fourth person was (F/N), she danced to a song, 'It Won't Be Long' by the beatles cover... She messed up a bit, having almost fell. The fifth person was me, and I did the song I practiced. 

I held the microphone in hand, I took a deep breath as they announced that I what I was going to sing. Once they were done announcing, I started singing.

"I was pulling out my hair

The day I cut the deal

Chemically calm

Was I meant to feel happy?

But my life was just about to change" 

I looked down on the crowd and glared at the pair, they looked so confused. The emotion in my voice was real, and everyone knew that.

(F/N) scoffed and laid on Hyun's arm. She didn't take me seriously, that fueled my anger and the emotion in my voice grew. I looked angry as I sang the parts, and imitated my enemies voice, I started getting frustrated...

"Are you satisfied with an average life?

Do I need to lie to make my way in life?"

Hyun looked shocked at what I said, it was clearly directed towards (F/N). The other people in the crowd though, were enjoying it a lot, they loved it.

"High achiever don't you see

They say I am a control freak

My frustration grew, what I said was the truth. I was like that, I didn't care what they thought of it.

This part was also true, I started to get thrown out of the friendships I made, I had felt I needed to drink and smoke for the hell of it... And it is my problem, people think they can just try and solve it for me, but they can't. I just wanted to hide from everyone after i heard the news that my friend started dating Hyun. Tears made there way to my eyes, suicidal memories came to me in that moment... I ignored it and kept singing...

I had to lie, to go through life. Lying about my feelings, chores, and thoughts. I got tired of everything and shut my mind up, I lied to get through this. (F/N) never knew about the feelings, so she looked shocked when I sang about lying. Hyun and (F/N) might think it is false, but they seem to believe every word that spilled from my mouth.

I gave up on praying for things a long time ago. I just needed to live, that's all.

I backed up, caught my breath, then gave the mic away and walked off. I didn't look back, I just walked all the way out and went straight home. There was no need to look back, for I already dropped (F/N) and Hyun. I just need to move on and forget what that friendship even was.
