I walked down the hall, glaring at anyone who looked at me wrong, they needed to know i wasn't some pussy face they could just push around. I headed to the front desk.

"hey, is there a shop 'round here?" i asked, the woman at the desk paused,

"uh yeah, down the street" She muttered, before going back to her Solitaire.

I headed past the scary ass gates and down the street, I looked around but all i could find was pretty girls, and some pretty dudes. If Elijah was here he'd be drooling at their abs or whatever he drools over. Most likely their dicks, since he's shallow like that.

"Are you from space?" i asked a particularly pretty girl, she paused and smirked, i guessed that was my cue to keep going "Cause you're outta of this world" I said smirking, she let out a laugh and i smiled to myself and decided to keep that one in the pick-up line book.

"Well you are original so i give you that" she said, smiling "What can i do you for?" i paused, my head pounding before i realised she meant what she could help me with.

"You know where they sell tooth brushes around here?" i asked, she nodded and pointed to a shop "care to show me?" i asked her, she nodded and grabbed my wrist and pulled me along. I might like it here after all,

She helped me pick out stuff i thought Elijah would bug me about, and things i wanted. She seemed to enjoy hanging out with me, so that was a plus.

"Tell me another one of your pick-up lines!" she said smiling happily, she reminded me of a small hyper dog. But way prettier,

"If i had to rate you from 1-10, i would rate you as a 9 because i am the 1 you are missing" i said, smirking. She paused and giggled her cheeks going red, this caused me to think when the last time she was treated as a human being and not some dumb thing from the way she was acting. I bought the items i had, and she followed me back to the gate although her steps weren't as peppy and she seemed sadder as we neared the gate.

"I have to go" i muttered, she nodded

"Come find me again, with some better pick-up lines, okay?" she said, I nodded and she smiled kissing my cheek and bounced off her brown curls flicking around. I headed back to the room.
