The air was cool as Crimson leaned against the wall. Savannah was talking to one of her teachers about getting an extension on a paper that was due in a couple days due to her family going on a trip.
It was a few minutes later that Crimson noticed another person leaning against the wall next to her. They said nothing, only watched cars leave the parking lot and buses pull out.
"I'm gonna assume you're the new kid," Crimson said, breaking the silence. He pulled out a cigarette, putting it in between his lips to light it.
"That I am," the boy said, lighting the cigarette. "And I'm assuming you're the Nina Everett everyone talks about."
In the distance, Crimson spotted Savannah walking out of the school.
With a smirk on her face, Crimson said, "Everyone just calls me Crimson, Dallas Black."
She pushed herself off of the wall, leaving Dallas behind to smirk at her. He blew smoke out, knowing that the student body of Rosafeld was right about Nina Everett.
The girl was a mystery.
