A night impossible to forget

A greasy breakfast

A greasy breakfast

Aug 21, 2017

-I hope you like bacon, a greasy breakfast is the best to cure a hangover.

-Yeah, thanks.

He leaves a plate with five strips of bacon, two eggs and two toasts in front of me and another one on the counter, that I can't really see its content, but I'm pretty sure has more of everything. I'm not gonna be able to finish this. I take a bite on the toast, but the smell of puke is too much. He leaves the kitchen and comes back with a shirt and some pants. He leaves them on the chair in front of me and grabs his breakfast. I rest my head on my hand, touching my forehead to calm my headache and he jumps.

-Sorry, I forgot the pain killers.

He leaves again and I try to take another bite, but I can't. He comes back again with a pill and gives me a glass of water to take the pill. I ask him for the bathroom and take the clothes with me. I see myself in the mirror. I look like such a mess. Disgusting. I want to take a shower, but that'd be too weird. I change, feeling very weird. I'm at his house, and wearing his clothes. This feels unreal, almost like a dream. I stare at myself in the mirror, fix my hair, get rid of the makeup, and go back to the kitchen.

I eat a toast and two strips of bacon easily now, but I'm full already and I can't finish the rest. I think it would be impolite to leave the breakfast he made, so I just stare at it and move it with my fork, hopping he notices so I don't have to tell him.

-You don't like it?

-It's not that, I'm just full.

-Oh, don't worry, I'll eat it.

-Well, I'll be going now.

-Sure, bye.

-Good bye.

I wish he tried to convince me to stay a little more, but it would probably just be uncomfortable for the two of us. I should be thankful he made me breakfast, gave me clothes that didn't smell like puke and let me sleep at his place, instead of wanting more from him. I grab my dress that still smells like puke, and I think about asking him for a bag to carry it, but I decide he already did too much for me. I grab my purse and leave.
