“What the heck happened?” I asked.
“Must be your lucky day,” started Alex. I looked at him to find a spark in his eye. Figures.
“Anyways like I said before we were rudely interrupted…”
“Alex whatever it is, can’t it wait ‘till tomorrow?”
He hesitated for a moment and after a few seconds responded, “Sure” with a weak heart.
I smiled to encourage him to go to his next class, which he thankfully did, while I went to the bathroom.
I tried scrubbing the paint of my clothes but it wouldn’t come off. I left because my arm was hurting and I went to the lost and found to find other clothing. I was handed a yellow t-shirt and really tight shorts. Unfortunately, that was all the "men clothes" they had.
As I left the lost and found, I got a pass from the office and went to my next class. I soon realized that I had blue streaks in my hair and I smelled like a meat shop. And to top that off, I never felt so naked. I wanted my long jeans and my Dad's shirt.
As I entered my Lit class, I pulled down the shorts and tried to stretch the shirt but it was useless because both pieces of clothing were small and old. I refused to look at anyone but Liv and the teacher when I handed him the tardy slip.
The morning passed by quickly and swiftly. After fifth period, I ran to catch up with Liv, who said she was outside the chemistry class. Earlier during the week, Liv and I had a fight because of our project. I blamed Liv for leaving it at her house and Liv blamed me for telling her to leave it at her house. In the end, I apologized knowing it was my fault and I rushed to tell her that.
