I grabbed Adam's hand and pulled him towards our parents' room. "Don't listen to him, Jamie. It isn't your fault." He tried to comfort me but I pushed him away. "I'm fine. Lets's just focus on looking for Jennifer and Anthony, alright?" He sighed. "Fine."When we reached the bedroom, we saw that no one was in there. "Where could the be?" Adam asked.
I thought for a moment. "Probably in the garden to have a talk without any distractions." He nodded his head. The garden is the farthest of them all and no servant is allowed there. We ran there quickly, eager to see our parents. It took us about 20 minutes to get there but we were so excited that we had forgotten how to slow down. We saw mother sitting in a chair across from father. They were crying. "When will they come out?" Jennifer asked. "...... I don't know dear." We crept up behind them and slid down of the floor. Then we tapped their backs and gave them a big hug. "Surprise! Missed us?" We cheered in unison. "Adam, Jamie!" They smiled. They held us tight in their arms. "You've finally decided to come out of your rooms!" Jennifer exclaimed.
"What made you come out in the first place?" Anthony asked. Adam and I stared at each other and spoke at the same time. "Him." "Her." Our parents smiled. "You both are still adorable I see." Jennifer giggled. "And you too are still two amazing parents." I smiled. I'll tell you the truth. I was happy to be in their arms but I still blame myself with each passing moment about my friend's death.
