"What're you doing here?" Crimson asked without hesitation, making Dallas smirk at her.
"You left without finishing our conversation, so now I'm here to finish it," Dallas said smugly, a sly grin creeping onto his face.
Crimson rolled her eyes, saying, "I wouldn't call our exchange of words a technical conversation."
"Then what was it?" Dallas questioned, arrogance in his voice.
"Me stating that I know of people like you."
"People like me?"
"You sit so high on your horse, and you look down on everyone. Whatever you do, you think you'll be worshiped for it because of your pretty-boy looks. You're arrogant, overconfident, someone who really doesn't give a damn about others when you do what you want when you want," Crimson said, narrowing her eyes at him. "You think you're oh-so clever and masculine, when all you are is an asshole."
Dallas still wore his smug grin, but he raised an eyebrow in curiosity. "You seem to think that you have me figured out, so let me try you. You like to call yourself independent, and you hate to rely on anybody. That's including your friends and family, no matter how close they are. Everything you do, you always think about future consequences. You just can't seem to live in present. Sure, you try to act all bad and do things that would normally make you uncomfortable, but it's all an act."
Crimson quirked her own eyebrow at his accusations, laughter bubbling in her throat as she listened to them.
"Well, the only thing you got wrong is the scared part. I don't get scared, Black," Crimson laughed.
"Yeah, right," Savannah muttered under her breath. It took a moment for Crimson to remember that they were still in the mall, for a while just the three of them. Now, Dallas Black had joined them.
"What're you doing here anyway? Shouldn't you be smoking in some alley with your friends or some shit?" Crimson questioned, slaughtering Dallas with different questions.
Dallas leaned back in his chair, amusement still clear on his face much to Crimson's chagrin. "Well, they are out front, not out back. I just figured I'd drop by here and finish the conversation we were having."
"Congratulations, you finished the nonexistent conversation we were having earlier. Now, you can leave," Crimson suggested, pointing over her shoulder towards the front exit of the mall.
"If you insist," Dallas smirked, scraping his chair back. He stood up and left, but not before sending one last smirk towards Crimson.
"What an asshole," Sage finally spoke after he left.
"Tell me about it," Crimson grumbled.
