Summer is now here and coming on strong,

time to prepare as it calls to us all!

Don't forget sunscreen, else fun will turn wrong;

put on your swimsuit and bring a beach ball!

Head down to the beach to claim a good spot,

and lay your beach towels under the shade!

Refreshment time for when it's really hot,

quench your thirst with a glass of lemonade!

Let the games begin with fun in the sand,

playing volleyball or building castles!

Next is surfing the waves just off the strand,

throwing away your worries or hassles!

The hours fly by, now it's time to go;

but don't worry, there's always tomorrow!
