I stared at Sebastian. "Let go of me." I said gently. "Why should I?" He asked. "Adam, hold me back." Adam held both of my arms. "Dude your left arm is really cold!" He complained. "What do you expect?!" I hissed. He seemed startled but then he understood what I meant. I tried to strike at Sebastian but Adam's grip was too strong. I managed to calm down and he let go. I took that chance to kick Sebastian's leg. I tried to do it as soft as I could but my body wasn't listening to my brain. He ended up shrieking in pain. He fell to the floor. "What are you made of, metal?!" I shrugged. "Would you like to find out?!" I stood in front and gave him a cold stare.
"No! I don't need a nut job on my list of people I should watch out for!" I turned to Diana and chuckled nervously. "Um.... sorry about kicking your brother. We just had some.... minor disagreements that we never got a chance to get over." I said. She giggled. "Its fine. My brother needed that."
"I can hear you just fine, you know!"
"That was the point. Any who, why were you asking to borrow some sunglasses? Its 10 in the evening if you haven't noticed." She asked. I covered my eyes. "No reason." I said slowly. "Congrats, Jamie! You made a bigger fool of yourself. How does that make you feel?" Sebastian asked sarcastically. I walked over to him and whispered in his ear. "So not only you are a pervert but you are also a hypocrite."
He scowled at me and pulled me close so his mouth could reach my ear. "You aren't just a slut but also a fool. Charming." He licked the tip of my ear and let me go. I jumped and covered it. Both Adam and Diana had given us confused looks. Sebastian used me as his aid to stand up and then I pulled his tie and licked his cheek.
It was the area where it really couldn't be seen. Then I pretended nothing had happened. "So, can we get the glasses? I promise I'll return them when the party ended." She nodded her head and gave me a smile. "Sure." When we reached her room, she gave me a pair of brown sunglasses. I thanked her and Sebastian dragged me to his room. He locked the door and sat on the bed. I sat in the chair and spun around. ".........What was that for?" I asked quietly.
"What do you mean?"
"You licked my ear."
"You licked my cheek."
"But don't pretend you didn't like it." I said mocking him. He sighed deeply. "You are very rude." He said. "You touched me when I didn't allow you to." "Like I said before, you enjoyed it." I shook my head. "You know who you remind me of?" He gave me a bored look. "If it will amuse you, then who?" I stopped the chair from spinning. "Clovis. I'm sure you know he's my brother, right?" He went silent. "What?!" He exclaimed. "My friend's sister is..." I nodded my head. "But don't call me his sister." I warned. "Why?" I pursed my lips. "He.... hates me because I don't have Scottingham blood in my veins." He scoffed. "I would too." He muttered. "No wonder you two are friends. You both hate the same girl. Like they always say: ' The enemy of my enemy is my friend.'" I sighed. We went silent for a moment. "......Why did you bring me here?" I asked.
"So I could pry into your past." He shrugged. I squinted at him. "You are an insensitive bastard." He showed no emotion. "You don't know thing about me." I took out my blade and started cutting myself. I took my eyes off my blade and looked at Sebastian. "You don't know a thing about me either but you had already tried to make sexual contact with me." I continued cutting. "Would you please stop that?" he yelled.
"Why?" I decided to test him. "I hate it when a young lady hurts herself." I rolled my eyes. "Of course you do." I continued making more lines on my arm. Out of nowhere, Sebastian had taken the blade and through it out an open window.
"I told you to stop."
"And I asked you why?"
"I already told you I hate it when young ladies hurt themselves."
"My lord, I never fell for that line for a second. What is the real reason?"
He went silent. Sebastian checked the time. "It's 10: 45. The party is about to end." He grabbed my hand and he tugged my down to the first level. "You didn't answer my question." I said calmly. "I don't need to, thank you very much." I sighed. There was no way to get through to him. I saw Diana and Adam by the food table. We approached them and Adam gave me a nudge. "So sis, who is he? Your boyfriend?" He teased. I thought for a moment. "I don't know, actually." Adam gave me a confused look. "How do you not know?" I shrugged. "I just don't." My brother sighed. "Whatever. You still have to explain yourself." I nodded. "I know, but we'll do it when we get home."
I handed Diana her glasses. "Thank you for letting me borrow them." I said. "No problem. What did you need them for anyways?" I pursed my lips. "I hate telling people my reasons but for you. I'll make an exception. Look into my eyes." She examined them closely. "Oh! One of them is red!" she exclaimed. I nodded my head. "Exactly. While your brother and I were dancing, he actually noticed it and that's when I realized I had to do something about it." Diana nodded her head. "I understand now." She checked her watch. "Oh dear! it's 10:55. It's time for everyone to leave." She kissed Adam's cheek and gave me a hug. " I wish you both a safe travel home."
Sebastian gave Adam a hand shake and then turned to me. I could tell he didn't know what to say so I simply bowed. "I bid you a good night, my lord." He bowed as well. "I do as well, my lady." I grabbed Adam's hand and together we went to meet Clovis, Lucas and our parents by the bar. Clovis gave me a weird look. "What is it, dear brother?" He sighed. "Your first dance was..... nice. I congratulate you." I nodded. "Thank you, lord brother." We headed out the door and into our limo. On the drive home, I thought about how I was starting the bastard. What is wrong with me?
