I opened my blinds and went on my balcony. It was 6:12 in the morning and the sun was rising. I sighed deeply and smiled. It had been a while since I woke up early to do this type of thing. Suddenly, I saw a pair of hands on the white fence that was protecting me from falling. I shrieked and locked my glass doors. I quickly shut my glass doors and hid underneath my bed covers. At first, it was silent but then I heard some loud knocking. If I were in a horror movie, I would be the first idiot to die because I opened the door slowly. I saw a girl in a green camo hood and some black stockings. She looked very familiar. "Good morning, Jamie!" Diana greeted. I sighed in relief. "Diana! You scared the crap out of me! What are you doing here so early in the morning?!" I whisper-yelled.
"Well, I wanted to get to know you better and came here to ask you. When I told my parents, they insisted that I take some body guards with me and Sebastian. I didn't need that fool with me and I definitely never was fond of 'protection' so I decided to hand out here and wait for you to wake up. To my luck, you're an early bird! Like me!" I chuckled a bit.
"Well, I would enjoy a girls' day out but before we leave, why don't we get some breakfast? You must be starving." She nodded her head but then her eyes drifted to the floor. I followed her line of vision and realized that it wasn't the floor she was staring at. It was my arm! I completely forgotten that I didn't put on a glove because I was trying to figure out if I was gonna die or live a few minutes ago. Her eyes had widened. "Um... I.... Uh...." I couldn't find the right words to explain to her what she was looking at. I couldn't even think of a lie.
I pursed my lips and was struggling to fight off my tears. Diana gave me a reassuring smile. "It's fine. You don't have to explain to me if you don't want to. I understand." I nodded my head. "Thanks." I said quietly. She smiled. "No problem. Now, can we go get something to eat? I'm really hungry!" Diana said as her stomached growled. I giggled. "Sure. Let's hurry up before the servants catch us." I said. "Don't worry! I'm pretty stealthy when it comes down to these things." I rolled my eyes. "Sure!" I said sarcastically with a smile.
"You want to have a competition?"
"You're on!"
