“HE DID WHAT?” Oh boy, now you did it Diana, the end is near. Just take me. “He said as friends Hannah, you can stop now, thank you,” I say with a groan, trying to sound as annoyed as possible. “How could I with this fantastic material you're giving me!” she shouts. Seriously, how can her dorm neighbors live with that?

“What do you mean, material,” I begin asking, “you asked what happened and I told you, it's nothing special. We're friends now and he'll call me tomorrow or something, I don't know,” I finish, attempting to understand her mindset. “uhm, yeah?! He's CALLING you! No text! No SMS or some shit! Calling. He wants to hear your stupid voice and talk to you! That's literally him asking you out.”

This girl is beyond saving.

“How is this in ANY way him asking me out,” I ask, although it doesn't sound like a question. “You don't understand what I mean, don't you?” she asks me instead. “I don't understand anything at all,” I reply sighing. “I heard that,” Hannah simply states, I hope you did, “but I think you're just in stage 1: Denial,” she finishes with a 'hmpf' at the end.

“Yeah, that's the thing. You think. And I think I'll hang up now. Bye,” I say with almost no emotion, only annoyance and maybe a little bit of embarrassment. “Ehhh? Wait Diana, don't hang u-” beep beep beep. I roll onto my back and stare at the ceiling still holding my phone. 'Literally him asking me out', huh?

I roll to my side and curl up in a ball. Maybe I should rest a little. Ah, but I didn't eat anything for dinner. Wait, what time even is it? I check my phone. 6:48 pm. God. Why am I so exhausted? I close my eyes. Was it because of the- meeting. With Oliver? Or the phone call with Hannah right now?

I sigh. I don't know. Although the date was pretty fun. I smile. I hope we'll do something again sometime. And with that I drift to sleep with a content smile on my face. Until I get woken up. By a loud knock on my door. I grunt.

“Why do I always have to go to your room if I want something from you? You never hear me calling! Maybe it's better if you sleep at your college! Dinner is ready, so hurry up!” Oh wow, thanks mother. I slowly lift myself from my bed. Why am I still sleepy? I want to sleep again.

I check my phone to see 24 messages from Hannah and 3 missed calls, bla bla bl- 3 messages from Oliver!? What? Why now? It's been like, what? 1 hour? Wait... dinner... I slept... oh yeah. What time is it?

I squint my eyes. Huh? How could I nap for 3 hours?! I sigh. I ignore Hannah's messages and go straight up to Oliver's. I blush at the sight I get to see. Is he serious? That's so... so... No sane person who would know me enough would send me this. It really made my heart flutter.
