Dear Nobody,
This might get a little serious.
Gastroparesis (also referred to as 'Delayed Gastric Emptying) is "a condition that affects the stomach muscles and prevents proper stomach emptying" according to google. In more simple terms it's the inability to completely digest foods. This rare disease comes in many different ways, from making the patient throw up after eating very little to only feeling a little nauseous after eating sweets.
This month is gastroparesis awareness month. Gastroparesis is currently incurable and treatment varies on which doctor you visit. From what I have seen most people end up on feeding tubes.
Please visit www.gastroparesisawarenessmonth.org to learn more about this disease and how you can help raise awareness and help fund research.
Thank you,
