As Aurora and Domino started to brace for the deadly beating they were about to unjustifiably receive, a giant smack was landed but not from their skulls but Shadulopal himself. He was now out cold. “I apologize for our shaman’s actions, he’s very sensitive about his talent. I almost never saw him do that though, now why don’t you see his visions on the wall you should see what Shadulopal was trying to convey.” the chief said, Aurora and Domino looked around the walls and saw two characters that looked like them and another one was a lady that had a clothing of some kind of robes holding a parasol but her face was scratched out. The two seemed to see that maybe Shadoo knew something about the Lady they didn’t know about, specifically her appearance and probable whereabouts. They went back to have a closer look of the unconscious Shadoo who was now wrapped tightly in a blanket now. “Excuse me,” Aurora said, “how long is he gonna be like that?”
“Not for long, our bones are encrypted in runes so that if we knock out one of our own they’ll be sure to recover shortly... or that's what we believed” one of the warriors who was starting to guard the two of them now, Aurora was a little worried about him though since she never wanted someone to die on her journey,
Shortly, Shadoo did recover from his concussion and he found himself bound to his bed, “What the— let me go! I’m trying to—" Shadoo then saw the chief right beside him, "Chief! I didn’t know you were here.” Shadulopal said in a fake joy,
“Shadulopal, your behavior was unacceptable, you know it’s against our ways to attack passing by travelers that meant no harm. I have never seen such actions in my whole life and these will not go unnoticed, you are hereby demoted to just mage and a lowly imp! You are now only named as ‘Hellebore’!”
“What!? How could I be—.” Shadoo tried to defend himself
“I don’t want to hear it! To make up for these injustices, you are under a command of the travelers!”
“Wha—!? Alright, what do you two want from this lowly mage?” Shadoo, or now as Hellebore said quickly, impatiently and sarcastically as ever,
“Well, we know that you know something about those paintings you painted have someone that I might need to find. I want to know where she is and where she was before. Now spill it!” Aurora said interrogatively, she sounded pretty hostile now as no amount of worrying was going to hold her back on her goal,
"Uh, Aurora what about me?" Domino whispered to her thinking that she forgot that he was here,
"Don't worry we're on the same continent we can probably find your person too."
“How am I supposed to know that!? I can't describe every event! I only know two things, I saw her near a farmhouse and a city full of lights. Now that's it, shoo!"
“Wait, Hellebore.” The chief said, “Those two simple commands won’t be enough for what you did, I’m going to order you to go with those two travelers until you made amends whether you like it or not.”
“But—!"
“No buts! You are now exiled from here until you apologize to those two, and you’re going to be with them for now on until you are forgiven whether you like it or not!”
Hellebore went to pack up his things in his bag which were several things that the villagers didn’t have: shoes, pants, actual articles of clothing that weren’t skirts. He then headed to the gate of the village, the whole village was watching him leave. But suddenly, something sparked inside of him, “Y’know I have something to say for all of you!” Hellebore shouted,
“Hellebore! You have no say in—” The Chief started to say,
“Shove it! I’m gonna say what I want! I don’t care about being a tribe! And you know what else!?” Hellebore shouted to all of them, he then ripped off his skirt revealing a pair of black pants, “Yeah, I hate wearing these skirts! This is the last time you’re going to see me from now on! Sayonara, I will no longer be called by whatever you call me, I will only be called by what I want to be named!! Good luck finding someone with half as much magical talent as I have!” The shaman, just like that, was now gone on the road.
The Shaman was stomping down the road furiously as since he left: he already washed off his body paint, undid his ponytail that everyone in his former village had to wear, and he actually put on a shirt which was just a regular tank top with a long coat on, he even put on some shoes too but he was keeping the earrings since they looked nice on him “Hey guys, what’s wrong?” he said,
“Oh hey, Hellebore,” Aurora said,
“Please don’t call me that. Ever. Just call me Kanza, I’m never going back to that failure of a tribe.”
“Oh! Actually, I’m really sorry for how I acted back there, I swear, I’m a really nice person. It’s just that, I’ve had it with people always accusing me of things I have no control of: ‘When’s your coronation?’, ‘When’s are you going to start wearing the royal gowns, Aurora?’, I’ve had it! I’m only sixteen now, I don’t know what to do!”
“Whoa! Is there something I missed from our last episode? Well, I’m sure we both had our problem in that incident. I should have been calmer like I’ve always had been, but I guess something snapped in me: I didn’t want to paint my visions, I wanted to pursue them, I guess I wanted to find the people I had those visions of.” Kanza said, “I can see that you and your friend need help to move your carriage.”
“Yeah, they didn’t even give us horses, in fact, I didn’t see any horses in there!” Domino said to Kanza,
“Yeah, they weren’t really that great at domesticating animals. But I’m sure I can make some for you.” Kanza offered,
“Really? How are you gonna make two horses?” Aurora said with some reasonable doubt,
“I’ll show you.”
Kanza brought them over to a pile of bones he remembered back then, “See these bones? They’re from horses if I can connect them back to their proper places… there!” Kanza made two complete skeletons from the giant pile, he then got out a staff with a skull of a dragon
with a black crystal ball, “Now, if you want to see how they’re made, don’t blink.” Kanza said, he raised his staff and the eye sockets and the ball glowed into a ghostly purple and then two swirling spirits came out and raised up the two skeletons in their current. The bones were flying around two magical cores and they positioned into two horses standing up, black goo was then starting to hold the bones together and it filled it inside; even though how much Kanza made it sound cool, Domino and Aurora closed their eyes shut as they sensed trouble from a skull staff. A dark flash was emitted and then the skeletons became completely normal horses, save for a pair of glowing eyes for each of them, “You can open your eyes now.” Kanza said, the two trusted Kanza and saw the two stallions,
“Wow! Thanks, Kanza!”
“No problem, there’s no need to tame them. They’ll follow you, just don’t provoke them.”
“Hey, why don’t you come with us? We’re both finding the same person.”
“That’s a great offer but I prefer to travel alone, for now, it’s for some reasons you won’t understand,” Kanza said,
"Oh well then, I guess this means farewell for now. So, farewell, Kanza!" Aurora said, she and Domino went back inside the carriage and they were now heading down the trail,
Kanza now was walking down the path too but from a distance away from Aurora's carriage, he didn't want to look like he was traveling with them as like he said before, he prefers to be alone. He then decided to stop and sit on a rock, he then watched the carriage move further down and saw it take a road directly to New Timpani, a neon city. It wasn't really the one Kanza envisioned but it was a start, despite the one he actually envisioned is on another continent. Kanza then started to get back on the trail again, he went to the other trail which had a lone farmhouse and a barn.
He went further down the road and stopped at the farmhouse, he knew who lived here, a farm boy... well not really a farm boy but a guy in his mid-twenties who just likes horses. He also didn't really have a farm but it was a horse ranch, even though he only had two horses: A black horse with an orange mane which made him look like a Night Mare, and a white horse with a golden mane that made it look like unicorn without his horn, they were both Shire horses. Kanza went over to the house and saw the two horses resting by with the farm boy nowhere in sight, "Good afternoon Rusty, and good day to you too, Casino." Kanza said to them, he occasionally snuck out to visit them since he grown to love them too,
"Good day to you too, Shadoo." Casino somehow said to Kanza without moving his mouth,
"Actually it's Kanza now... Wait, did you talk!?" Kanza replied to him, he jumped back a little and the horse tilted its head in confusion, "...No, you can't talk, it must be all in my head. It's just been so routinary that I'm just pretending they're talking." Kanza denied, he wasn't really that surprised with supernatural happenings he did resurrect two horses with only their bones but he was surprised that he heard a regular living horse talk to him since he touched several animals back then and they never talked, he went over and brushed his fingers through Rusty's mane now,
"Well then, it's a mighty fine day to you too, Kanza." Rusty said, "Yes, we can talk but only to you in your head, so don't respond so loud."
Kanza gave him a wide eyed look but not as in a, "Oh my gods, this horse just talked to me" sort of way but a more... actually, that's what he thought again but a more of a, "Am I really in disbelief in a world like this?" type of tone, he then started to talk audibly to him since he actually wanted to ask them a question for a long time, "So Rusty, do you know where your owner is? I know I used to see him far away but every time I get there, he's gone already."
"Actually, I haven't seen him a very long time. Casino and I only stayed alive by eating his food inside the house. I can say that Matt was gone for... Casino how long was it?" Rusty said Kanza used his free hand to touch Casino so he can hear his talking too,
"Rusty, it wasn't that long, he's only been gone for a week but yes, I 'm worried about Matt too but what can we do? We're two horses, we can't just go find him on my own without a rider with us, we'll be shot! Or worse, we might get caught." Casino said, he then noticed there was a possible rider in front of him, "Wait, Kanza, can you ride a horse?"
"No?"
"Well that won't be trouble then, just hop on one of our backs and we'll do the riding for you. You can do it now, we still have our horseshoes on." Casino said Kanza struggled to get up on him as he wasn't a very great climber, just a good slider. Rusty helped him by grabbing Kanza's collar with his teeth and got him up,
"There, now our best destination to find him is to get to New Timpani, he sometimes goes there to trade, that's where Casino used to be," Rusty said,
"Well, let's go! I don't know how to ride a horse, remember?" Kanza said, the two horses then went down the road and toward New Timpani where coincidentally, Aurora and Domino were looking for someone there too.
