Markus was sitting outside on a bench, watching the lions play and eating a Popsicle. Samurai walked over and sat next to him.
“Hey Mark, whatcha up to?” He sat next to him, taking his Popsicle. Markus scoffed and reached for it.
“That’s mine Sam, give it back!” Samurai kept on moving it away from him.
“Nah cutie, this is now my sweet treat.” He started to suck and lick it. Markus pouted and sat on his lap.
“What are you doing here anyway? I thought you and Leo had training to do.” Sam took a bite out of the Popsicle.
“Well Leo wanted me to hang out with you for a bit. Since you seem to believe I don’t like you.”
“Well you don’t.” Markus mumbled. Samurai sighed and gave him the Popsicle stick.
“I love you Markus. It may not seem like it but I do.”
“Then why are you so mean to me?! What have I done to make you hate me?” Samurai sighed and laid his head on top of Markus’s head.
“You’ve done nothing. It’s just that,” He paused and took a breath. “The moment Leo learned the parents had left you with us he immediately took the job of taking care of you, he didn’t even take my feelings into account and at that time I didn’t even want kids.” He kissed the top of Markus’s head, sighing heavily. Markus laid his head down into Sam’s chest.
“So you’re still not ready to have kids?” He joked. Sam chuckled lightly.
“You’re a piece of work, but I’ve had you long enough to tolerate you.” Markus giggled and kissed his cheek. Samurai smiled and picked him up.
“Let’s go get you a new Popsicle.” He nodded, smiling widely.
The ringmaster called Markus into his office. He wanted to talk to him about how he could perform tonight. Markus found this impossible because he act involves him standing and it would impossible and very boring but the ringmaster insisted that he try. He had him locked in his office for hours.
“Maybe we could have you lean up against.” The ringmaster suggested, pacing back and forth across the room. Markus sighed and looked at the clock, it was getting late.
“Sir,” He said quietly, “Can we continue this tomorrow? It’s past my bedtime.” The ringmaster looked at the clock and sighed.
“Of course Markus, while you’re going though can you deliver something to Sophia for me?” Markus nodded. The ringmaster gave him a small paper back, the contents inside were moving.
“Don’t open it.” He warned. Markus nodded and left his office, going to Sophia’s room. She was already asleep once he got there. He stapled the bag shut and put it on her nightstand before quietly leaving her room. He decided it was too far of a walk to his room so he went straight to Samurai’s room. Leo was probably in there so he knew he would be able to cuddle with them. He tried to open the door but it was locked. Did Sam know he was coming? It’s very rude to lock people out of a room, especially if you’re not doing anything. He sighed and wandered around for a while, he wasn’t all that tired and he didn’t want to go to bed. He wandered into the animal pen and sat down in that hay. A lion came up to Markus and licked his face. Markus giggled and scratched his mane. He searched around in the hay before his hand grabbed something, he pulled it out. It was Leo’s Gameboy. Leo had hidden from Markus when he was trouble and had forgotten all about it. Markus found it a few months ago and kept in there since. The lion yawned loudly and laid down behind Markus. He leaned back and played the Gameboy all night.
“Hey cutie, wake up now.” A voice cooed. “You have a show to watch.” Markus yawned and slowly opened his eyes. It was Sophia, she was dressed her uniform. A constricting black corset with a big red bow on the front, fishnet stalking that were covered by her black thigh boots. Markus never understood why she wore such a revealing outfit but then he remembered the ringmaster’s drawer and came to an obvious conclusion.
“What?” He asked groggily, rubbing his eyes and slowly standing up from the hay.
“The ringmaster suggested that you survey and report about the performance of tonight show. Since he can’t go out a survey to all the people who come he thought it best if he got your opinion.” She dusted all the hay off him and reached in between her breasts, pulling out a small bottle of perfume. She practically dosed him with it, leaving him in a coughing mess.
“Did I really sleep in that late?” He asked as he got the remaining pieces of hay out of his hair. Sophia nodded and threw him over her shoulder. He squealed and giggled.
“Sophia!” He whined as he swayed, “Put me down!” Sophia laughed and started to walk out of the stable. Markus giggling like crazy.
