Rin stood in front of my mirror and moved this way and that viewing the outfit I had picked out for her. "Are you sure this isn't too much...?"
I grinned at her. "It's perfect. Now sit down and let me do your hair!"
I had managed to get her into a small red dress that was tied in the back instead of a zipper and I gave her a pair of heels as a finishing touch. He long black hair hung down her back and I raked my fingers through it slowly. "So... are you still worried about this party?"
"Not as much as I was before... as long as your with me I'll be fine." She smiled at my reflection. "Maybe we can sneak off." She laughed and winked at me.
I rolled my eyes and laughed with her. It did sound nice but I wasn't going to let her get out of this that easily. "Rin..." I said softly and I pulled her hair up and put it into a messy bun with a few strands hanging down. "One day I will show everyone else what I see and... you will understand." I added some clips to hold in the fly-aways and let her look.
She bit her lip and blushed. "Wow. I didn't know... I could look like this." She turned her head from side to side. "Thank you..." She whispered, a tear streamed down her face. "I am so happy."
"It's just a party Rin." I laughed. She punched me in the shoulder playfully. "Besides, I didn't do anything put take your hair out of your face. If you were to do that more often, people would always be able to see this beautiful face."
She got up and hugged me tight. "Okay. Ill wear it up from now on. I promise."
"Yes!" I yelled triumphantly and we both laughed. "okay, it's time to go now."
We headed down to her car and to the party. Rin squeezed my hand the whole time. I knew she was worried but there wasn't anything for her to worry about. I smiled at her as I saw all the worry and stress slip from her face.
