Once upon a time there was
Just the tiniest of all the stars
She would ponder and pause
Why should she stay above jupiter or mars
When not a soul knew where she was
Now, she decided, it was time to go
Looking bitterly down to earth
The star didn't let anyone know
Gliding further with mirth
She would find a way to be down low
A Shooting star without rebirth
But as the tiny star was falling
On her journey to land
Started to notice a trend appalling
Fell off a point of a star, and a hand
Still she'd go further down bawling
Soon there was nothing left on the dry land
Than a tender heart sprawling
Ended the fall of the lonely star
Had her heart made it through the ordeal
But she had no eyes left, just a scar
Couldn't see a dawning sky turn teal
No ears as her radar
Couldn't hear the nightingale's spiel
But feeling she had left, in her avatar
And so cold and lonely she would feel
Quite a while the star lied there
Until she felt a harsh pain
On a star had stepped a creature fair
And piece by piece her heart unchained
But the creature fair with care
Together the pieces maintained
And her heart to a new would compare
The star had a dawning new feeling
As the loneliness of her heart had lifted
Now on a gentle palm she was healing
To the tiniest of all the stars a new home was gifted
