“Of course they do. They miss Chara too, but-” I was interrupted because of a loud pop, and Sans appeared out of nowhere.
Sarah shrieked in surprise. “Who is that?!” She exclaimed in shock. I didn't blame her. Most people didn't travel by time and space, after all.
“Oh, this is one of my friends. Sarah, this is Sans. Sans, this is my sister, Sarah.”
“cool. so, kid, i got the game on lockdown. the player shouldn't be able to reset, or even get on, anytime soon. tori was wondering if you wanted to go back to her. did you want to?”
“And have a home again? Of course!” Sarah exclaims excitedly. “Of course!”
“oh, that's right, i forgot you probably have parents up here, don't you, huh?”
“No.” Sarah said. “Our parents left us a few years ago. Please take us with you!”
“ok.” Sans said. “tori probably has some space for you too over at her place.”
We started walking with Sans when Sarah leaned toward me. “Who’s Tori?” She whispered to me.
“Oh, Toriel?” I whispered back. “Well, I think she’s dating Sans, but she’s the one that saved me from Flowey when I first fell down. Don't ask who that is.” I said, just as Sarah opened her mouth to ask me who Flowey was. “She’s also Asriel’s mom.”
“Wait, then why is Toriel dating Sans?”
“She’s not married anymore because her last husband, who was king of the underground, decided to kill any human that fell into the underground so they could break the barrier and be free. Toriel wouldn't stand for it and left. Asgore didn't even know she was still alive until today.”
“here we are.” Sans said, stopping in front of the house that I had stayed in from before the reset. “see you kids tomorrow.” He walked back down the road, and Toriel walked outside.
“Hello Frisk.” She said to me. “Oh? Who is your friend, my child?”
I was about to speak, but Sarah’s mouth moved faster. “I'm her twin sister!” Sarah exclaimed excitedly. “On the way here, Frisk told me a bunch of things about you.”
“Really? Well my child, before you do anything else, here is a cell phone. Now go play.”
Sarah and I went outside, and started trying to find a place to make a garden, so we could surprise Toriel. Of course, I already knew the perfect spot, but since no one else knew about the resets, I couldn't very well point it out right away without it seeming weird.
“Here’s a good spot!” Sarah yelled. “And look, there’s already a flower growing here! There’s some marks on its middle that look like a face!”
Flowey’s up here? My eyes widened in shock. I ran over to the flower and Sarah. “Stand back!” I yelled to her.
“Why?” She asked me, shocked.
“Because, he might attack you!”
“Frisk?” Flowey said. “I know I told you to forget me, but I'm afraid I might hurt someone else. I can feel the hate coming. I can't control it. I need you to stop the Flowey side of me.
“How?” I asked, scared what his answer might be.
“End me.” He said, his petals drooping. “End me before I hurt someone else close to me.”
“Asriel,” I said. “I can't possibly do that.”
“Wait,” Sarah said, confused. “This flower is Asriel?”
“In a way.” Flowey and I say in unison.
“Of course,” Flowey said, turning to me. “I could steal a soul to turn back into Asriel, but I don't think you'd allow that.”
“You know I would never allow that.” I said. “What if I put you in a pot? That way you couldn't go anywhere to hurt anyone.”
“But, then Toriel-” He started to say.
“Toriel doesn't have to know. She’s forgotten you’re Asriel after the resets.”
