Once both of us got out of the elevator, I notice that Chai Panit is having a conversation with four to five other businessmen. As I stood there waiting for him to finish off the conversation, he looks at me and motioned me to them. I did as I was told.

“Everyone, there here is my new secretary. If you need anything, please tell her. I am in a hurry to another meeting. Thank you,” Chai Panit waved his hand as he walks away, and like that he left me standing there taking care of his business.

After clearing his mess, I walked to his office. I open the door and hear him on the phone. Since he was talking, I thought it was inappropriate to be loud, therefore I made sure that he didn’t hear me come in.

“Come on. You know it’s not like that. She’s not even worth it. As soon as they return, I will come and ask for your hand in marriage. Alright, darling?” As Chai Panit said those words, he turned and saw mw standing by the door. “I’ll call you back after this meeting, alright? Okay. I love you too. Bye,” he said as he hung up the phone.

“Sorry, I didn’t want to disturb your important call. However, it seems like you like to push all your work onto others. So, I took an offer a gentleman requested and agreed that you will be going to their fashion show. It is to support the jewelry that you will be providing for them. I have already informed your parents about this occasion. I will send you the information later tonight,” I said, as I backed towards the door.

“WHAT?!” he said, as he stood up from his chair and walked over to me. “Why?”

“The fashion show is tonight at 6. I hope to see you there. As they need workers, I volunteered, therefore I will head on ahead,” I said as I quickly sneaked out the door. I made my way to the entrance and headed off to the venue of the fashion show.
