Before the disaster struck on New Timpani, a semi-modern dimension where the world is flat and nature thrive with no buildings of stone in sight and all the trees have a variety of colored leaves whether or not the season was appropriate. This was The Forest of the Fey, a world with a different set of rules for magic as opposed to Talus having no rules.

Domino got up and- Wait, who's Domino? The only thing of interest around the tall grass blades and giant fruit was a boy with green hair with a black streak along with green eyebrows showing that the hair wasn't dyed, he scratched his hair having no memory of what happened. He then felt something in his hair, it was a green lily. He pulled it down from his head and saw it was connected to a vine that somehow was connected to his cranium, it reminded him of a different flower, specifically a lotus flower. The name stuck to him and soon he now called himself Lotus now. Lotus looked around, he didn't know why but the place around him had a familiar feeling to him. He started to wander around the path he was on but that wasn't long as he bumped into someone and his whole view was now a distorted vision with a black lens filter on it. "Oh my! I'm so sorry about that! Here, let me get that for you." A distorted figure said, 

"No thanks, I got it." Lotus pulled off the black blobs of slime off of him and out of impulse, he ate it!

"Uh, I don't think you can eat that." The person said,

"What was that?" Lotus said, he was getting really tired and suddenly he collapsed on the ground sleeping.

Lotus woke up just fine and he saw he was in a bed, he got up and saw that he was in a hospital of some sort. He got up and left the room and saw two women sitting on the chairs, "Um, can you tell me where I am?" Lotus said,

"Oh, so you're the reason why the nurses called us over here. I-It's really you." A pink haired woman said,

"Come on now Daisy, just because you lost the signal doesn't mean he was dead." The blue haired and rather anonymously disguised woman said to the other,

"Fine sis, hello boy-"

"Geez Daisy, this is our brother, not one of our crazed fans and it's only been ten years. I'll start, hello Lotus, coming from your look, you looked surprised at our encounter." The blue haired woman said "I'm Octavia and this is Daisy, I'll save you all that backstory and say that you're our brother and the only male fairy and also the only fairy to have round ears, it took a lot of magic and a big favor for the round ears part but you were made. And ten years passed since you ended up going into the portal to Talus and we couldn't find you anywhere. But now you're back and we're actually quite glad that you're back. We're gonna bring you home now." Octavia said in a quick and neutral tone

"Geez Octo, could you have sounded any more boring?" Daisy pointed out of that exposition, "You sounded so drone-like. Could you have expressed some happiness or sadness outside of your movies?"

"Oh, I'm sorry Daze." Octavia replied back, "It's hard to mourn for ten years! Some of us have high-maintenance jobs!"

"Uh... what's a fairy?" Lotus said during the sisters' usual arguments, they both went silent at that, "Like why do we have flowers stuck in our heads, and where are the things I found?"

"Wait, you don't know what fairies are?" Daisy said quietly, "You're going to have to watch the home movie then."

Lotus with his supposed sisters was then brought to their house, luckily Octavia found his bag which in retrospect, looked very ratty. He was now sitting down on a frog-shaped recliner in front of a rather large TV, "Alright, here it is, Lotus' Birthday." Daisy said carrying a glowing lotus, she then placed it on top of the TV and soon the TV turned on showing a small pot of glowing dust in the middle of what looked like the kitchen in the house. 

"You have the lily and the dragonfly wings?" Octavia said to Daisy,

"Yeah, they're right here. And I found this neat purple fairy dust."

"Whatever, just don't put it in with the others."

"Okay," Daisy then dropped the lily and wings in but then she dropped the dust in despite what Octavio just said,

"What did I JUST say, Daisy!" Octavio shouted, the pot's illegal fairy dust started to become a dark purple and soon it spat out a young fairy that was a boy now with round ears, he looked just like Lotus, "Oh boy, it's a boy."

"And it even has round ears, it looks just like a human." Daisy pointed the obvious,

"Well, what do we do with him now?" Octavia asked she tried to tickle the baby Lotus but instead of laughing he got scared and he quickly buzzed its wings and it crashed through into the distance never being seen again.

"Wow, that is quite a story. And a short one." Lotus muttered under his breath, he guessed that solved his question but he still didn't know about fairie, "But what are exactly fairies?"

"Well, there just like humans, only with no acne, nature-based magic powers, colored hair, flowers in their hair, wings, and a good fashion sense," Octavia said,

"Well, I guess that's an answer. I actually want to do something when I saw that home movie."

"Yes, what is it? You're our brother and we'll do anything for you." Daisy replied with smiling and bringing in Octavia with her arms which lead her making a half smile,

"Can you help me understand what to do with these?"

"...And that's how a fairy is born." Octavia said to Lotus, she just finished explaining that the things Lotus had were mementos and they were able to be created into new souls which would eventually make them become new ones,

"Ah, but why do we have to do one at home?" Lotus asked remembering Octavia said that there was a giant pool of fairy dust at the town hall,

"Because I don't think we can revive people outside of this flat world. Now just drop them in and we can enjoy our company for some time."

Lotus dropped the things in and somehow the dust started turning black now and turned into several colors of the rainbow. The pot rumbled and suddenly six souls flew out of the window, "Dang it! We just paid off the repairs!" Daisy said, she looked out the broken window and couldn't see the souls anymore or where they have flown off to. "Well there's no matter of finding them now, why don't we reconnect?" Daisy said,

"Uh... alright then," Lotus replied with, he was already tired of what was going on.
