“Over in Waterfall. If we’re lucky, there’ll be someone there who can help us.”
“Ok then. Let’s go in through where we came out, and we can travel by boat to Waterfall.”
We walked into the cavern and quickly traversed our way through Hotland, then taking the Riverman’s boat to Waterfall. While on the boat he said something peculiar. “Beware the man that speaks in hands.” Whatever that means. I don't know why I would be scared of someone who knew sign language.
We got off the boat and walked into the hallway. Flowey had decided not to take the boat, and had beaten us. “Finally!” He exclaimed. “I've been waiting for ten minutes already. The door could disappear at any moment!”
“What do-” I turn my head. “Oh, that door. Wait, why is there a door here? There has never been a door here!”
“That’s why I said we’d be lucky if the person was here! Now come on, it’s time for you to meet the predecessor to Dr. Alphys. The previous royal scientist.”
“I didn't even know someone had that job before her!” I exclaimed.
“That’s okay. Neither does anyone else.” Flowey said mysteriously. Sarah and I look at each other questioningly, then walk into the dark room.
In the center is an amalgamate, with a main form of a skeleton.
I turned to Sarah, who looks scared. “Who is that?” She said nervously.
“I don't know.” I said. “This door wasn't here when I went through.”
“What do you mean, the door wasn't here? Doors don't just appear randomly. Especially big metal ones.”
“Guys? Pay attention.” Flowey said. “This is Dr. W.D. Gaster. He created the core.”
“What’s the core?” Sarah whispered to me from the corner of her mouth.
“I'll explain later.” I said.
“Now, we have hit a slight problem.” Flowey said, talking to the scientist. “Chara’s ghost has come back and has started haunting Frisk, the brown haired child that's in front of you.”
“Chara… First you must seek the purpose, only then may you find what you seek.” Then he disappeared in a flash of smoke.
“Well, that was...cryptic.” Flowey said.
“So, what do we do now?” I said, staring blankly at the spot where the amalgamate had once been.
“Well, I don't know! He’s usually less cryptic than this!”
“What exactly is going on here?” Sarah exclaimed.
“The skeleton thing you just saw was supposed to give us answers, but I guess he has better things to do today.”
“Should we head to the coffins? Maybe there’s someway to stop Chara where she started.” I suggested.
“Wait, there’s coffins down here?” Sarah said.
“There is everything down here ranging from bake sales to a three star restaurant. Of course there’s coffins.”
“What are we going to find there? I personally think we should try talking to smiley trash bag. I’ve always had a weird feeling about him.”
“Who's smiley trash bag?” I asked.
“It's Sans.”
Sarah looked at me, with a questioning expression.
“Just go with it.” I said, realizing she was about to ask another question.
“Uuggghhh, just get a move on already.” Flowey said.
