The Inn was a 4-storey building, complete with bar inside and there’s nearby small shops and restaurant in the middle of the road where adventurers stops by to stay for the night. Merchants and traders usually parked outside and make moneys there for a while before continuing their journey to the next town.

Little Darling and Sqee checked in just right in time before sun down, they got themselves a big room and two single beds. Little Darling looked out the window to where they can see the view of the castle.

“It looks so small from here, i never knew this is how it looks like from far, can you imagine Sqee that I missed this beauty from the royal carriage?!” she gleamed, taking a deep breath and release a big satisfying sigh.

Sqee just nodded while putting their bags to both beds. Little Darling realize that Sqee has been awfully quiet on the entire trip and she turn to look while sitting on the window pane.

“Sqee, you have been this quiet for almost two hours now, is there something bothering you?”

“Hm? Nouu nouu, hweuhfj,” he shakes his head and gave a little small giggle, he get up from where he sat, Sqee pointed at her if she is hungry.

“Oh not yet. I’m just tired. Maybe later on?”

Little Darling jumps on the bed and just closes her eyes, Sqee watches her as she fell instantly to bed. He began to unpack few clothes for Little Darling before left the room.

The bar was bustling with tourists and gang members that decided to make a stop in the area, Sqee was sitting near the bar counter drinking some local drink thinking about earlier.

“Need more drink young man?” the bartender asked as he wiping his big mug.

“One more beer and can you add up one stinky fish from your trash can?” a gulping tone came out as he finish the last drop of his beer.

The bartender pass his orders and left him alone while attending other customers. The bar was as crowded as the band started playing and a group of Orcs banging on the table as the music plays louder.

There was a stranger in hood walks in the bar. Without stopping the stranger sat next to Sqee and look over their shoulder, they removed their hood to reveal a scaly head, fins for hair and ears. The whole bar goes quiet for a moment looking at this scaly figure.

“Well shi--” before he could finish this sentence, the female fish lady swings her dagger straight to his chest but Sqee managed to bend himself and kicks himself away from where he is seating from.

“Stop moving!” screamed the lady.

CLICK! SWOOSH!

Sqee and the lady fish stopped, as the bar attendees all stands up pointing their weapons to the semi aquatic person.

“No one fights in this part of the street lady,” said the bartender, pointing his rifle at her.

“These street rules you must follow! Even Orcs know the rules! You ancient Aquarians should know well about breaking rules,” the big Orc that sits at the end of the rounded table added, “If want fight or kill, go outside the street barrier.”

The lady in hood growled and grins, she gaze at Sqee before putting away her dagger. She walks slowly to Sqee who slowly backs away.

“Guess we deal this outside.”
