Sometimes you may feel like
That you're just not enough
Truth won't help, nor words alike
just existing may be tough
Once on the sky was a star just fine
Would endlessly to herself ponder
Was too dull her shine?
She thought as she would wander
"That one is prettier and brighter than my design"
Said the star just fine of the north star yonder
"This one's light more important is than mine"
About the sun she would maunder
Next to her she happened to look
And saw a star so small she felt pity
The earth couldn't see that star from his nook
Was hard to hear him even in their propinquity
The star just fine wondered his outlook
How could it feel to shine with no mutuality
Finally she couldn't hold it in
From her a question rose
"Wouldn't you rather be bigger than our kin -
Finer and brighter than those?
It can't be nice being so tiny and thin,
Always left in the shadows"
The tiny star was surprised for a time
And on what he heard reflected
Soon he would softly chime
That he had never felt neglected
He'd never wish to be more prime
If everyone was as bright and erected
There would be no nighttime
All stars would feel dejected
As the star just and exactly fine still was unsure
For another moment chimed the small star
"Some are grand and others miniature
Others dim and some brighter by far
But it would be dull for sure
If all stars shone on par"
Now realized the star just fine
That there was no sense
thinking others were more divine
or better on her expense
