In the Monochrome Castle on the planet of Greyscale, there lived only a young girl who only slept there. She was afraid to go outside from how dark and bright it was and she only lived like that forever, her parents were two monarchical rulers but that's all she only knew. It was unknown if this girl was actually their daughter or not but she always lived there since she could remember.
In her room, a lady came in, she was beautiful and had purple hair and matching eyes and wearing a magical robe, she was unlike anyone in Greyscale. She sat right next to a chair near the girl's bed, she brushed her hair out of her face and saw her faceless. The woman sighed a little at it, she opened her umbrella and got out a giant, orange, and purple cobra, "I hope you help guide her and help her feel again, Moe." the woman said, the cobra used its tail and gave off a salute, "And I hope you remember who you were." The lady got up now and she left the room and never to be seen again leaving only a messenger bag
The snake wrapped around the slumbering girl's neck and it opened its jaws with a hiss, it dove down and it brought its "venom" into the girl's bloodstream.
Soon, the girl started to have a little tinge of color on her cheeks and she started to stir. She got up for once in her life felt something heavy around her neck. She started to feel a little curious about how she now saw color, she then actually wanted to get out of her bed and look around or wander around since she had no eyes. The girl touched her neck a little and she felt something smooth yet rough at the same time, she ran through it and felt a wider end to the rope-like thing and started petting it. She then poked it a little now and the thing pulled back and something bit her finger, and she shouted in pain. The skin on her face then tore open two holes revealing a pair of pale blue eyes, the shout came from another hole torn on the head showing a mouth underneath; The left over skin went away in the dust. The girl then saw a giant cobra wrapped around her neck, she reached for her hand at his hand again and he started to have her pet him, "Wow, I never seen what you are. I'll call you something, how about Fang?" the girl said, the cobra smiled at it and hugged her a little with his body, "Alright then you're Fang, but what about me?" she asked Fang,
Fang went over to the crocodile-skinned messenger bag and opened it up revealing a frozen rainbow slushie inside, he grabbed it and handed it over to the girl. She didn't know why, but she perfectly knew how to drink it perfectly, she then slurped it until it was empty and of course, her brain was hit with a pain in it due to no one ever having a brain freeze and she closed her eyes in pain. The girl opened her eyes again and she saw Fang in a vibrant purple and dynamic markings on it, her eyes widened at it in intrigue. "Whoa! What was in that?" she asked Fang, he simply just made a shrug with his tail, "It felt like a freeze in my head. I think it felt... lovely." The girl said looking at the cup having a picture of a white dove, Hey! 'Dove', 'lovely'. I think Dovelie sounds like a great name!" she said, she then walked over to where the bag was and looked inside it, "What else have you got here?"
Fang got out a purple leather book out that had a golden symbol of a flask smoking something out, he then slithered out the door and Dovely followed. She looked around and saw the empty throne room of the castle, she looked at the plaque that said, Monochrome Castle. She looked at it closer and soon a golden splash generated from it and spread through the room giving the whole castle a golden and blue color, the plaque now said, Cosmic Castle. However, this was only in Dovely and Fang's vision since the world wasn't called Greyscale for no reason. Dovely saw a bunch of clothes on the floor and Fang concocting some kind of formula on the table between the two thrones, it smelled like fruit punch and hibiscus, but what would Dovely know what it smelled like. After Fang finished the concoction by stirring with his tail, he then dove in the beaker full of red liquid and started drinking from the inside out. Dovely picked up the potion book on the floor and saw where the formula Fang was making:
Snake Humanification:
Ingredients: Snake's Venom (DNA), Red Hibiscus, Bonemeal
Stir until red and drink. Spectators look away as the transformation process is really graphic.
Dovelie looked back up and before she could cover her eyes from the transformation sequence, Fang silently turned into a human already. He was wearing a pair of snorkeling goggles and a blue beach crop top, a pair of beach pants, a blue jacket tied around the waist and a pair of leather sandals. "Hello there Dovelie." Fang said, "It's me, Fang."
"Oh... hi, Fang." Dovelie uttered out, she was feeling something that made her shake and remain silent from then on by the colorful sight of Fang, she wasn't very good with human interaction and she was just fine with talking to a snake,
"Hi. Now, I've been sent here to be your buddy so let's get to know each other. Since you called me Fang that's what it is, I'm Fang, unprofessional scientist and pre-historic Naga turned human." Fang properly introduced him, he brought out his hand for a handshake, Dovelie was a little hesitant and even brought her hands behind her back, "No handshake? That's fine, we can work on that, right now, I'm here to help you with something." Fang said,
"Okay."
"Now I know you may be- Wait, just like that?" Fang said in disbelief over such agreement,
"I mean I just woke up from my bed, that's kind of it here."
"Oh, okay, as you can see the world of Greyscale is... pretty drab and this is gonna sound pretty crazy but. This is actually the only place that still exists and every other place has been destroyed and completely void of magic and the girl who technically saved me and every other person has indirectly destroyed every other dimension and you're the only person connected to her and we got to find this world's counterparts of the worlds that were destroyed: which is about thirteen people and/or things you have to find, they'll be obvious since they're the only things that have color here which might be hard since we both see color around Greyscale but I'm sure we can find them since they glow too."
"Uh..." Dovelie could only utter out, she was at a loss for words at the revelation that this world being the only place that lived,
"So, are you with me or not?" Fang asked,
"Okay." Dovelie got out from her backed up words,
"Great! But first, let's work on your clothes." Fang said noticing Dovelie's simple white maxi dress,
"What's wrong with it?"
"It's so impractical, so drab, so simple," Fang said, each word felt like a knife in Dovelie's torso as her expression became sad, "Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry about saying that! I'm just saying I have an outfit in here for you that you'd like," Fang said sheepishly, he got out a cream-colored collared A-line dress with a blue neck and hair ribbon and sash along with some blue rain boots, it was obvious to Dovelie's taste, or someone else's that looked like her,
"Oh, actually it does look like something I'd like," Dovelie said rubbing her eyes to get off the settling tears,
"Well, I sure do hope you like it. Anyway, come outside and I'll show you something that we'll get around to find these people slash things." Fang said running down the room to the entrance, Dovelie followed him via walking.
"Tada!" Fang said showing a motorized bike that was only built for one, "What do you think?"
"It's something," Dovelie said, she realized why Fang didn't want her in that dress,
"Thanks, it was a gift from this pretty looking lady. She was the only one that lived in that destruction." Fang replied with, he started to take off his pants revealing a pair of swim briefs, he then put on his jack and he got on the bike,
"Uh, what are you doing?" Dovelie said blushing from the sight,
"I was just taking my pants off. Do you know how much it chafes when I'm on it and it can get tangled too; I'm a reckless scientist but I'm not a careless driver, even though this is my first time." Fang said, "Also, just grab onto me while we're riding."
Dovelie slowly got on and she held onto Fang really tightly in fear of falling down on the bike, this was the first time she felt scared yet also alive. "Alright, let's go find us a fairy." Fang said leaving Dovelie confused as they drove off into the woods that the path along the castle was paved through.
