Dear Nobody,
So, I was wrong. It happens often but it doesn't always slap me in the face. I thought I would absolutely hate one of my classes. I thought I'd be dragging my feet all year and groaning about it. I thought it was going to bring down my entire bright sunny personality that I totally one hundred percent have. I was wrong. I love this class. Damn.
I don't like being wrong. I take pride in researching and voicing my opinion and views with facts and evidence to back myself up. When someone is able to poke holes in my foundation I tend to go on the defensive. This often leads them to crush my well-planned foundation.
There's something about not having that satisfying 'I told you so' moment just irks me. Like a junkie waiting for a fix, I get bouncy and impatient. I'll get that seventh grade, emo, 'woe is me' look on my face.
So, as much as I love the class, fuck that class for making me wrong.
Thanks for listening,
