*A couple months pass*

Creator’s pov:

Rin was in her station charging. I took this as a chance to slip in the back of my lab. Sleeping in a glass like tomb, lay a blond haired boy. I hoped he would be the one to save her from the darkness I called home. I walked toward him, placing my head against the cold glass and whispered. “Promise you’ll be there for her...Len.”

Rin made a noise as she woke up. I grabbed the tree seed from my desk and walked out to her with a smile on my face. Rin was just walking into the room fidgeting a little bit to fix her bow or rub her eyes. She was acting more human every day and it made me very proud. “Merry Christmas Rin!” I practically yelled out at her. My hand was clenched by my side and she seemed to notice. “Yes, master Merry Christmas…. What are you holding?” I smiled at her quick noticing skills.

“This is a tree seed it’s going to start out small but one day it’s going to grow into a beautiful cherry blossom tree.” Her eyes light up once more but this time there seemed to be a bit of color to her dull blue eyes. Could it be she was more human then I knew? “Would you like to help me plant it?” She nodded and we walked outside together and digged a nice size hole and planted the tree. This was a present that I had hoped would last her long after I had gone.
