Nana was walking to her house angry and tired. Who was that guy who stole the thumb drive and why does he needs it? Now they don’t have anything concrete to reopen the case. She had nothing, it has been a month since she start the case. At the rate she is going they would not be any chance that she be free any time soon.

“Nana!!!” shouted someone coming behind her. She turn around and saw Seol and Ban was walking towards her.

“Officer Seol and Officer Ban what are you doing here?” said Nana. They look at each other and Seol says,

“Right after you called us that someone had taken the thumb drive we want to see if you are alright?” Nana just give then a weak smile. She is upset that who someone had taken the thumb drive away from her the only thing that will show them that someone was there when 2 of the victim had commit suicide. But on the other hand she is determent that something did happen to the student since someone did not want her to find out the true of what really happen.

“I’m still upset but now since that unknown guy had stolen the thumb drive we know that someone is hiding something from us. Something that had to do with the students who died.” said Nana.

“We are still checking to see if we can try to find where that guy had drop and if any camera had captured his face. Once I have anything I’ll get back to you.” said Ban.

“I understand while I get more lead from school.” said Nana.

“Let’s go in. I make something nice for us to eat while decision on the case.” said Seol. Nana and Ban agree. Ban who is super hunger, his stomach start to growl in hunger. Seol and Nana look at each other and start to laugh at Ban noisy stomach. Ban look at them embarrass at what his stomach just did.

Seol was making dinner while Nana place 3 cups of coffee on the coffee table at the living room. Ban walk out of the washroom and sat down and drink his coffee. Nana sat opposite him and says,

“Officer Ban can I ask you something?” Ban place his coffee down and says,

“Yes what is it?”

“When you came the other time you said you remember where you see this place? What do you mean by that?” said Nana. Ban look at Nana and felt bad about telling her that he knew who her mother was.

“Right after my fiancee break our engagement a few day before our marriage she marry someone else. While she was celebrating her new life I was drinking myself to death. I was super drunk that I pass out in front of the bakery. Your mother a beautiful woman help me up and bring me up here. The next day, I woke up and saw myself laying on this floor. She was making breakfast, you were a baby back then. She was with you in the kitchen.” said Ban stopping while looking at the kitchen where a woman who had given her an advice about love and she had wake him up from his heart break.

“I woke up and walk to her. I thank her for helping me. She just smile and told me to have breakfast before leaving. While we were having breakfast she said something that woke me up from my miserable pain of heart break.”

“What did she say?” said Nana curious about what her mother had say to Ban.

“She said that the pain I’m going through back then is nothing to compare then the happiness that I’ll get if I’m patient enough to wait. She said that she too did the same but end up waiting for her happiness to come and went it did, she was so happy that it erase her pain that she felt before.” said Ban who smile as he remember that Nana mother was happy with what she had, even though she was a single mother bring up a baby by herself she was happy.

“She had me!” said Nana while looking away wiping her tears. Ban nod his head and says,

“Yes she had you. When I look at her I knew someday I’ll be able to smile just like her.” The room suddenly became silence in remembrance of Nana mother.

The next at school, Nana walk up to the school, while walking up just like the day before everyone look at her strangely. Her heart was beating very fast, she could feel something was going to happen soon. As she reach the school frontage, she saw a group of mothers was getting out of their cars. She could feel the tense in their faces. She look down and quickly walk to her locker. As she was walking to her locker, suddenly someone from behind her had grab her hair and was pulling it back. Nana hold her hair and turn around to see a 45 years old lady was cursing her and was dragging her hair. Then one by one of the mother start to go to her and start to beat her. It happen so fast that she did not know what to do or what was going on. Suddenly she felt that someone was covering her as she could not feel of being hit. She could hear a male voice behind her telling them to stop. After a few minutes, the mothers realize that they have beaten someone else they stop and look at them. By then, Nana was on the floor being cover by someone.

“Chul Woo are you crazy? What were you thinking?” said Jun Ho while running to Chul Woo. Nana slowly turn around and saw Chul Woo was covering her. He stood up and look at the mothers who had beaten her. He was not happy when they attack her. He did not know why he came to her rescue. Was is because he want to repay what she had done for her or because something else?

“Do you know who I am?” he said. The mother looks at each other whispering. Of course they know who he was. His father is a billionaire next to Sung Woo father. And his father is a strict man and if anyone were to do anything to him, he will destroy them personally.

“If you know who I am hurt her again I’ll destroy you!!” he shouted before he took Nana hand and help her up and bring her away from the craziness.

After the nurse had treat Nana wound which was luckily was just a minor scratch. Chul Woo who was sitting on the opposite side of the bed looking at her while she try to look away. The nurse look at the both of them and says,

“Take this and rest before going back to class. I need to step out for a bit alright!” Chul Woo and Nana nodded her head and the nurse pass them the medicine and 2 cups of water. They took it and the nurse left them alone. An awkward silence enter the room, Nana look at Chul Woo and says,

“Thank you for helping me again!”

“I have save you twice, how many more time do you want me to save you?” Nana look at him and was shock when he said that.

“I did not ask you to help me! You willingly did it!” said Nana piss off while stand up and wanted to leave. When Nana walk away, Chul Woo wanted to stop her but suddenly he felt a sharp pain coming from his back that he suddenly fall down to the ground. When he fall, Nana heard, she turn around and saw him on the flour. She immediately went to him and help him up to the bed.

“Are you alright?” said Nana concern. Once he lay down on the bed he could still feel the sharp pain.

“I’m fine…don’t worry about it.” he said.

“No…I’ll get the nurse!!!” said Nana while she wanted to look for the nurse, Chul Woo suddenly grab her hand and says,

“The pain will go away in a while but please just stay here until then. Please!!!” Chul Woo still felt some pain in his back due to kicking and beating from the mothers earlier. He felt pain before, more pain then he ever had and this pain was nothing compare to that.

“Please let me get the nurse!!” said Nana again. Chul Woo shake his head and says,

“No please just stay here! Please!!” Nana look at him and decided to stay with him.

“Alright!” she said while she sat beside him. Chul Woo relax himself and slowly the pain start to ease away.

“Thank you for saving me but next time don’t try to save me again. I don’t like you or anyone to get hurt. So don’t do it again.” said Nana. For as long as she can remember anyone who try to help her die. Especially her mother, she was wrongly accuse of killing a guy she knew from middle school her mother try to get her out but died after being hit by a car and she did not want anyone else to be next.

“I will do it again even if I did not want too. I can’t stop myself, ever since you sat beside me. So you can bet on it that I will save you even if I did not want too.” said Chul Woo. Both of them look at each other, somehow the world wanted them to meet; somehow there was something that the world wanted to tell the both of them something that might hurt and heal both of their heart.

Right after Chul Nana was sitting at the class alone after school waiting for Eun-mi. After the incident at the washroom Eun-mi were sent to the school counselor as she start to have trauma. Since Eun-mi did not have friends, Nana decided to wait for her with the school counselor. Nana look at her mobile and look over the case file again. But she still unable to shake off an image of the guy who had stolen the footage. She lay her back to the chair and look down at the phone.

“Nana I was looking for you around the school!” said Bora.

“Hi!!!”

“I heard that you were being beaten up by the mother’s gang!!! You alright?”

“Never felt better!” said Nana while giving a weak smile at Bora.

“I’m sorry that we lose the footage!”

“Yes we did lose the footage but that does not mean we are at lose.”

‘What do you mean?”

“We found something that might make the police reopen the case. And now that someone had stole it, it mean someone was involve and did not want us to know what is it.” said Nana. Bora was taken away by Nana words.

“So that mean we need to find who that person is and from there we know what really happen!”

“Bingo!!” said Nana.

“But how we know who he is?” said Bora. Nana just smile at Bora as she know that the police is trying to get a footage of that person who stole it.
