The special abilities were based on the each individual animal and their interaction with the environment where they lived. His experiments were successful but they weren't ready for the World because only a few existed. So he decided to create a micro-universe in his lab, which he did and filled them with animals with special abilities. The animals began to live inside the micro universe and used these powers to defend themselves and evolve. There were friendly ones as well as dangerous ones. They repopulated, new species were formed, common, rare animals with new abilities and new.."

" That's the reason you're questioning me right? Because you have no clue about him? What else do you want to know? "

That's when all the animals with special abilities appeared on our planet. There was obvious confusion, some humans began befriending these animals. People and these animals helped each other. That's what the professor wanted!!! He wanted the world where Pokemon and people would work together"

"But everyone knows that wasn't the end result, There was chaos, people began misusing the Pokemon and Prof. Keo is solely responsible for this "

"It wasn't his fault, some of the poke-balls which were developed illegally by other companies had a weird effect on the Pokemon, they manipulated their mind to make them more aggressive in nature. And professor couldn't do much about it since the person behind these illegally developed pokeballs was more powerful in the society, and it was too late before he realized this, the blame for the creation of the pokeballs was put on Prof. Keo ."
