Ruvik Victoriano X Scientist! Alex Mercer smut Boy X Boy requested: aydeepraysfordahmer
*Usual! As always. :)
The room was dark. Darker than their shadows.
Their eyes lit, yellow and red.
And a tear falls from his face.
"Alex!" A young man shouted, gasping from his dream. The blonde awoke from his sleep, his arms buried his face before, he sat on a small chair, his tattered coat covering his face and his perimeter. The raven-haired man, Alex replied, "Woah, nelly. You seem a bit...uhm...afraid...?" Ruvik responded with a snob look at him, "Jesus, Alex...I'm not afraid. I was just...confused." Alex then worked on his chemistry. His glasses were reflecting his work and his surroundings.
The blonde started a conversation --looking away-- while fiddling with his tattered clothes, "So, uhm, you'll get amnesia once that liquid is consumed. Correct?" "Precisely." Alex agreed as he shifted his vials and lowered the heat of the alcohol lamp. His face and mind was so focused on his work that he still knew how to respond to Ruvik. The tattered, hooded, man looked up at his friend and said, "You're working on something very important. Leaving your friends, your sister -- Dana, and your fiance--" "Don't even say her name, Ruvik." He warned his friend, making the hooded man look away in exhaustion. He then stood up from his seat and went to the door and left, after saying, "I'll leave you with your work, Mercer. I'll see you tonight."
Alex just continued his work, carelessly minding Ruvik about his leave, but he kept in mind about their meeting tonight. Alex sighed about awhile ago, making Ruvik leave because of the name of his fiance, Karen, was enough to push Alex off the edge. He sat on his chair, his hands rubbed off the tiredness on his face, and across his hair, ruffling it. He huffed and slammed his head on the counter, mumbling, "Goddamit Mercer... " He then covered his face with his arms, turning all the fire off from his experiment, and slowly sleeping to slumber.

Ruvik walked on the hallway, reappearing or disappearing for fun, but fun wasn't enough to remove his guilt. Thinking it was his fault. He knew Alex is the creator of Blacklight, he knew about the Penn Station incident, and he knew about his case. But Ruvik didn't know about something, it seemed hidden to him yet obvious. Something worth dangerous yet powerful. He went to a certain room and sat on a chair, his slender hands rested his chin, he pondered how Alex is mysterious all of a sudden. Concluding through his knowledge and his friendship to the way he acts lately. Hmn...Alex seemed ticked off a while ago...I should-- His thoughts were cut off by the scientist.
Alex sat in front of him and did the same position, but Alex's left hand was occupied with a book he grabbed from the library, like a reflection with its own life. Ruvik squinted his eyes, looking at Mercer with full curiosity. Still thinking deeply about his seemingly, mysterious, figure; his thin, dark, and cyan eyes were scrolling through the dark book, his soft and pale skin cast a shadow of its mounted curves from the light. His legs were crossed like a table. Ruvik sat there, observing his silent doings, and doing it felt calm and addicting in a way.
Mercer peered his eyes from Ruvik's body and smirked, causing Ruvik to blush. Alex took notice of the action and chuckled, "You are easily flustered, Victoriano." Ruvik replied, sternly, "Just-- shut up." That moment, the two men felt like a force was pulling them, but their minds avoided the contact of it, leaving their secrets behind.
--night--
Alex walked on the corridor, reaching Ruvik's room. Inside the room, the Victoriano pondered and researched for his friend's background. He went through the newspapers to the public news. Ruvik then searched for "mass-killing in Red Zone." When he pressed Enter, he has taken regret from his back. It shown billions of news about mass-murders, infected people dying, and images of people being shot at. It was grotesque. Ruvik continued, scrolling his eyes down the page. One of the pictures were his friend, Alex Mercer. He took aback his fright and pondered, Is this Alex Mercer? The mass-killer of New York, Red Zone and Yellow Zone? Was this his obvious yet deadly secret from me...? His mind was racing like a bullet.
The door opened to reveal Mercer with his sweater
The door opened to reveal Mercer with his sweater. Ruvik quickly shut his laptop and turned around, nervous. "Uh...what b-brings you in here, Alex?" Alex sat on the grand bed, knowing that Ruvik was up to something; about him. "I just came here to --you know-- apologize." Ruvik gave a snob look, "Look, whatever was that are in the past. Just focus on your work, it's a big deal for you." Alex replied immediately, his brows connecting, "But you're also a big deal to me too. You're my best friend, Ruvik. You have to at least feel a bit of empathy." He sighed, the hooded man stood up and sat beside Alex. Afterwards, Alex gave a small peck at the head --blushing Ruvik-- and headed out saying, "Goodnight, Victoriano." Ruvik replied before he closed the door, "Goodnight to you too, Mercer..."
