The bright white sun rose once again like every day and Dovelie, Coal, and Rex was already on the path to the next door city of Clearwater City. Coal was walking all the way ahead of Dovelie and Rex, he had trouble considering them friends and for an abridged way of what he thought of them was that they were moving shields for him. They were already nearing the borders of the city, Clearwater City like all other cities had some weird atmosphere around them that would make it look like their own world and they all stretched beyond the horizon. Coal looked around and saw the place changing into a beach environment along with only a few crowds of Hydro-Greyscalians, they were basically Greyscalians but lived in Clearwater City (like how M. Metropolis Greyscalians are called Metro-Greyscalians). Coal then breathed in the salty air in his nostril-ess nose and made an unseen breath of relaxation, his crack that was a sorry excuse for a mouth was fully healed overnight. When the two caught up, he noticed Dovelie still had her crack on her, like all Greyscalians, they were able to quickly heal with a medicinal gel that was emitted from their bodies and would cover where the crack was made, even if the person was a pile of glass dust, the gel would completely reconstruct them, but Coal didn’t even see a dollop of gel come from Dovelie’s crack last night. He simply tried to shake it off and think he’ll confront her about it at a better time, This is it Dovelie, and Rex too, Clearwater City. Coal announced to them silently with his two arms raised up high,
“Wow! It’s so watery and sandy!” Dovelie said.
Yeah, that’s called a beach. Anyway, let’s scout the area to find that girl.
“Sure, I’ll start with scouting the beach.” Rex said along with gesturing his hands to have Coal and Dovelie understand, “Since it’s so big, I’ll have Dovelie come with me to cover more ground.”
Coal knew what Rex was actually gonna do but he gave him a chance to keep his word, he nodded his head and Rex ran off to the beach area with Dovelie slowly following him, she wasn’t feeling well. Dovelie had a horrible headache that wouldn’t go away since last night, Coal and Rex never heard nor experienced this pain since Greyscalians didn’t feel pain but whatever it was, something felt like it was trying to smash Dovelie’s porcelain head. Rex ventured forth, thinking Dovelie was right behind him, he was already walking pretty fast and he was only going faster. Dovelie straggled behind and she tried to call out for him to slow down, she couldn’t say anything. She couldn’t feel her feet and she thought it was the boots holding her down, she pulled them off and when she put one of her legs down, there was no foot! The only thing she saw at the end of her foreleg was an ankle with no foot, she reached down to actually touch it and she then saw her hands on the sand now into shattered segments of fingers and palms. Dovelie, now hobbling on her right foot that was still in the boot was now waving her now handless arms over to Rex who was very invested in looking at a seashell, she tried to give one more hop and her right leg broke off at the knee and she shattered onto the weirdly rocky sand, leaving her clothes on the sand and her bag drifting off into the sea that was actually just about the size of a lake
Rex actually heard something besides the waves and he looked in the direction of the sound, he saw a pile of white powder and a boot in the middle of the grey sand. He walked toward it, unaware what it was and picked up the boot, he was having a hard time remembering who it belonged to, like how you can’t recognize the whole picture from a single puzzle piece. Rex was even more confused on why a dress was lying on the sand, no Greyscalian and not even Coal and probably Dovelie were able to take off their clothes unless it was an accessory, and a dress wasn’t that. Rex decided to leave them there and hope that someone would come and get them, they just weren't his taste. He then walked around the beach again and started to wonder if Dovelie was going to follow him or Coal.
The dress and the ribbon were left there casting a shadow onto the beach’s sand, the boots were already drifting away into the lake to join the bag. A faint wind has started to blow, even though winds never blew except toward the lake, but the faints winds started to blow up the dress and ribbon making them cast a bigger shadow and the articles of clothing flew up to the sky, never to be seen again but weirdly their shadows had lingered on the sand. Then, the shadows started to grow bigger making a humanoid head and torso but only leaving a point at the bottom, it was Dovelie. The shadow then started to move and it stood up floating, two circles were made on the head of the shadow and looked around. She was having trouble remembering what just happen, her memory was muddled up and the only thing she remembered was some names and a crash. She floated around Clearwater City, and when a Greyscalian walked in front of her they simply passed through her, not noticing her at all. She then floated over to a giant tree near the beach’s seawater, she looked up and saw a rather young-looking but taller than Coal and maybe Rex Greyscalian boy hanging helplessly on a branch. The boy was looking in the shadow’s general direction, it looked like he drawn on a pair of eyes with a big black mask surrounding it, his outfit seemed to look like there was a big robe with pant legs with the sleeves and hems ripped off showing a pair of black t-shirt sleeves and a pair of big blue shoes under it. Dovelie looked back at him and walked around the tree and the boy still stared at her, it seemed that he knew Dovelie was there. She then, hesitantly, waved at him with her wispy and transparent hand, the boy happily waved moving his whole hand up and down. Dovelie decided to start walking past the kid until the boy started to get her attention, Wait! Where are you going?! The boy said, but strangely, it was not heard audibly, but Dovelie thought it was in her head. Wait, where did that come from, and whose voice was that? Dovelie thought in her head, That’s me! The boy you just saw in the tree! the voice continued, I’m Anchor Fathoms, what’s your name? he asked I’m Dovelie, are you waiting for someone get you off the tree? Dovelie replied with, Well not really but I would appreciate it. I’ve kind have been stuck here for at least a day, no one’s bothered to help me get down and even I can’t shake myself off. Anchor explained the plight to Dovelie, Well what can I do then? Dovelie asked him in her head still, Hmm, hey! You can try to find my friend, Coco! He's kind of far away but you can find him, I don’t know where he could be exactly though, but if you look around here you’ll find him. Anchor suggested, Well, that’s not very helpful but it’s something. Okay, I’ll find Coco for you. Dovelie then started walking off with Anchor waving goodbye, she was distracted by the boy’s eccentricity that he possibly couldn’t be from here, but he was. Dovelie was distracted by Anchor that she didn’t see the curb and she didn't notice Anchor trying to warn her silently and due to being out her telepathy range and she tripped and fell. Her incorporeal body hit the floor and it broke the ground as if it was glass and she fell down the dark abyss that was uncovered by the ground.
