Mikaela's pov- I had to go do what ever I could to keep Yuu safe. That meant offering my blood to the vampires to get food. "Lord Ferid!" I yelled and smiled as I waved to him. "Ahhh....little Mika." He said to me with a bone chilling smile. Yuu stood behind me watching host fist clenched in anger. I placed my hand on his and smiled. "Yuu it's okay..."

Yuu looked at and then at Lord Ferid. "NO ITS NOT!" He finally said clenching his fist even more. "YOU SHOULDN'T HAVE TO GIVE YOUR BLOOD TO HIM MIKA! HE'S JUST ANOTHER UGLY MONSTER!" Yuu was in tears now but he hide it from me. It was the first time I saw him getting worked up. "Yu- chan..." I tried to comfort him but he ran away. "Ahhhh......poor Mikaela....trying to protect your presses angel again I see " I looked over and laughed. "He's just hungry is all my lord." He laughed at me and let me walk away which soon turned to running.

I sighed and ran after Yuu. "Yu-chan wait up!" I ran after him trying to catch up and then when I finally caught up I laughed and hugged from behind. "Get off me Mika!" He said sounding tired

as he began falling asleep. I laughed and got off him stepping in front of him to stop him in his tracks. He looked at me confused as I crouched down in front of him. "What are you doing?" He asked me wondering if I was crazy. "I'll carry you silly." I told him and he didn't fight me.

With out a word he climbed on my back and I got up with shaky legs and began to walk home. I could tell Lord Ferid was watching from afar but I didn't care at the moment. I pushed him up a bit to get a better grip and make him more comfy. Slowly his head landed on the crook of my neck as he fell asleep. I smiled and whispered to him. "Don't worry Yu-chan I'll keep you safe."
