It was a bright sunny day and I was walking to school. I was all happy and cheerful like I always was but their was something different about today. Their was a boy in all black with his hood over his head. He held his head down and looked very sad. I had to stop my self for a second as the tears fell down my face. I missed him so much.... I ran up to catch him and tapped him on the shoulder. "Hi!!!" I said with a smile and a giggle. He glanced at me and sighed. "My names Kelly what's yours?" I asked him hoping to get a response from him. "What's the point?" He looked down at the ground. I giggled again and looked at his face from under his hood.

I felt my heart skip a beat when I looked at his cool brown eyes. He had long messy brown hair and smile on his face now. Even with all that my eyes where still drawn to his. They looked so sad and droopy and I wanted to change that so badly. "Come on what's your name?" He sighed and lifted his head up. "My name is Alex happy now you can laugh at me too just like every one else does." I laughed pulling into a tight hug. He looked at me shocked and started to blush making me laugh a little. "I would never laugh at you. Besides I want to be friends with you." I said taking his hand catching him off guard again.

"You want to be my friend?" He looked at me even more confused now. I nodded and walked with him to school. "Come on Alex don't you want to be friends with me?" He looked a little unsure. "Well I guess it would be nice to have friend...." I smiled at him. "That's good to hear!!! Then come on lets hurry before where late for school." I said as I dragged him to school.

*At school*

I noticed at that moment that well we where at school he acted different. Their where a lot of kids that where glaring at us and whispering things behind our backs. I heard mine and what I think was Alex's name a lot as well. I under stood why he was so distant from me.
