The android sat atop its creator's desk, an emotion that could only be described as confusion washing over it. Oh, goodness, their panel was open, how embarrassing! The robot would blush if they could, holding the unsealed panel closed as they stood on wobbly, uncoordinated legs. They turned to look over the room, drawn to a pile of papers on the table next to the computer. Sifting through them, they could pick out nearly every word and define it, except one. 

"Bor...is?" They questioned softly, confused. Searching their database proved no help in defining this new word. Then they tried again, "Boris. I am... Boris?" They glanced around, hoping for some sort of answer, but the room remained silent except for the whirs and clicks their mechanical body would make as they moved. "I am Boris." They stated. If someone wouldn't answer, they'd just have to do their best and hope someone would come soon. Boris sat the papers back on the table, enjoying the small shuffling sound they made as they hit the surface. Being practically a baby, he'd be easily entertained. 

He then turned around, exploring every little nook and cranny of this strange office. Opening a drawer or any sort of compartment, he'd whisper, "Master?" With glowing eyes illuminating the dark of the room. Then he stepped in the dried blood of his creator, looking at it. He was thoroughly puzzled as he murmured, "Master?" one final time before exiting the office to find his creator.
