pt 3
"You actually got in?" Lyrical asked, following me out the arena.
"Y-yes. He said come by tomorrow." I said, smiling.
"This isn't gonna end well. Anyway, don't get in my way, alright? Don't ruin my reputation or anything."
Lyrical's face looked cold and serious. I felt like crying. "Don't cry," Lyrical said, "I'm joking." He pet my head aggressively then went ahead. After he left, I realized I was lost.

I walked down a neighborhood I think was mine, and have a quiet worry fest in my head.
"What if I do ruin lyrical's reputation?"
"Does Ms. Amy still think I'm ugly?"
"what if school isn't fun?"
"What if I don't make any friends?"
"What if I get bad grades!?"
All I could hear was the sound of my footsteps and the one-million negative thoughts in my head.
"Are you lost?"
I stop underneath an orange street light, slightly startled. I slowly turn around.
"Excuse me, are you lost?"
Infront of me I see a boy about my age on a red bike staring at me with a worried looking face. He was Asian with blonde hair so it was most likely dyed (He was either Japanese or Korean...).
"Yes, I am actually... um, where are we exactly?" I said nervously.
"Sugarberry avenue." He said with a laugh.
"Oh! I live here!"
The boy laughed.
I felt super awkward, so I walked forward, but that guy followed me on his bike.
"You new around here?" He asked. I really didn't want to talk, but I did want friends, so I tried.
"Yup, I-I-I just moved to canada." I wish didn't stutter, I wanted to cry so bad.
"Cool. I just moved here, too." I wanted to say, "Wow! All the way from japan!?" But that would have been rude. I nodded my head and looked down.
"I'm Chase."
He said with a wide, friendly, smile.
"Bernadette," I said trying to smile. "Bernadette Royal." Chase laughed. "Your royalty? Is that why your wearing that Cinderella dress?" I brushed and looked down.
"Are you the princess of cupcakes?" Chase asked.
"W-what do you mean?"
"Your cupcake purse, cupcake earrings and cupcake resemblance..."
I smiled weakly. "I like baking, I'm not really good at it though..." I replied.
"Hmm...I think I can fix that." Chase handed me a flyer with a girl making an OK sign her hand, holding a piece of candy between her thumb and index finger, pink hair, pink eyes, underneath the picture in bold rainbow colors,
"Do you like Candy?" I stared at it."You should come. It's tomorrow after school hours." Chase said as he rode off.

"Bernadette?!" My Mother yelled as I entered the house. "Sorry, I got lost and-" My mother pulled me close to her and hugged me.
"I heard! They called and everything! Tomorrow at 8:30 sharp!"
Suddenly I felt a overwhelming feeling of excitement. "I'm in the club!!!" I yelled.
"Your Father would have been so proud." My mother said. I ran down into the basement, where Florence is almost always is, and told him everything, though he didn't seem interested. At my mother and his wedding he told me that he's my father, now. Florence, doesn't fill that void for me. Even on happy days, I still want my real Father.

Bonnie isn't the nicest person sometimes. She gossips like it's her god given right, and she thinks she's pretty and sweet. But I like talking to her though
"Ah! High school!" Bonnie said while my mother drove us to school. Butterflies flew in my stomach, but not the cute love-sick ones, the butterflies with iron wings that dripped acid. I held on to Lyrical's arm and stuck myself to him.
"Don't worry," Lyrical said, "Just find a clique and you'll be okay." He said.
"A what?" I asked.
"You know, the book worms, the mean girls, the jocks... you probably wouldn't do well in any of those, huh?" Bonnie said, nonchalantly, "I know! Do you want me go to baking class with you?"she asked me, gently. I nodded my head. With that Bonnie joined Sweet Shop, as well.
--------------------------------------------------------
School wasn't my strong suit. I knew nobody and I didn't understand how it was organized, home school is free lanced, but school feels like your being completely controlled. However it would be worth it when I get comfortable with the team I'm on now. The club 'Fable' represents our school so I have to be in this school in order to be on the team. I hate this, but on the bright side maybe I'll make some friends! Maybe three. Or two. Okay, most likely one, but friends weren't the most important thing. The overwhelming amount of home work we got for the first day was just plain mean of them. Unfortunately that day was finally over and then, I still wasn't finished socializing just yet. I still needed to go to the baking class and my team orientation. Bonnie came with me and immediately saw her friends.
"Oh my gosh! Bonnie!" A girl squealed. She stopped in mid-hug and gave me a stare down. "Who's she?" The girl asked.
"My step-sister, Bernardette."
I smiled, very friendly like but she ignored me and continued to talk to Bonnie. "You've mat Chase, right?" She asked. Every girl in the room ran over. The girly pink room was also in the same center as the ice-skating rank. "No." Bonnie replied.
