pt 4
According to the girls at my baking club, Chase's real name is Junpei Yukishiro (knew he was Japanese!) He is from the states and has a very special talent. "His chocolate work is amazing!" A girl told us. "I've never mat him!" Bonnie cried feeling left out.
"I have..." I said quietly.
"Really!? No way! What is he like... who are you, again? Was it Brenda or something?"
I ignored what she said and replied. "He was friendly, cheerful and sweet-"
"Like candy?"
A girl with milk-chocolate colored skin, super pretty and zit-less, came in with baking supplies.
"Chase should be here soon, he's running a little late." She put the supplies on a table and washed her hands at one of the sinks. "I'm Melody. I will be co-instructing with Chase this year." Melody looked really friendly.
"Why are you a girl?" A loud girl from the back of the room asked, pouting. Melody seemed to disregard the loud girl and continued.
"Chase and I plan to go to culinary school when we get into college. So-" Melody was suddenly cut off by the sound of the heavy doors opening.
"Good Afternoon, everyone." Chase looked different than he did from the night before. Last night his hair was down and he looked like a teenage boy with a baby's face. But today, his hair was tied back and he was wearing glasses! The glasses laid on his nose so every few minutes he had to lift them up with his index finger. He looked older than all of us. After a quick introduction, Chase gave us each our own sheet of paper with a simple chocolate chip cookie recipe. I have made them before, but it turned out horribly. Very cautiously, I followed the recipe best I could, but as they baked in the oven, something didn't look right. They became dark really fast and stuck to the pan like a lollipop sticks to a hot stove top.( I would know, I've melded so many lollipops when I was a kid.)
"Miss Bernardette?" I hear from behind me as I took the cookie sheet out."I think you put too much sugar and butter," Chase said low."It's like caramel now." He pat my sholder then went to the next girl. I felt like crying. I could tell the drastic change of my mood went straight on my face. I immediately threw them out. After three minutes of standing there, Chase showed me how to make the cookies, which embarrassed me to death!
"There," He said, putting the cookies on a plate."That wasn't so hard, was it?" Chase said nicely.
"I'll try my best next time..." I mumbled. "Good job, you guys! I really had fun today." Chase said.

I was the only one left when everyone was finished cleaning their station. I wiped my counters with a rag and tried to forget the last hour. "You coming back tomorrow?" I looked up and Chase was there, he was holding a box of baking supplies. "I don't know," I said, looking down at the counter.
"I'm terrible at baking, I-I mean, I want to learn really badly, but-"
Suddenly Chase dropped his box on the table and put his palms flat on the counter.
"Don't say that," He said staring at me with a serious face.
"Don't say your terrible. I don't like seeing people give up," He picked up his box and walks towards the door, "So come back tomorrow, okay?"

My heart was pounding out my chest! I was in 'Fable', and was going to get my first partner! I slammed the door open and it made a loud sound that brought a lot of attention to me. I froze in front on the door as everyone, including Monarchy stared at me. They were all in straight line. With an older man in front of them. It looked to me like I was super late! I stumbled after every five steps I had taken trying to get over there. Thank God, Lyrical was easy to reach. "As I was saying," the man said. " I am coach, Thomas Armstrong, as most of you know, and usually I am your coach, event planner and manager, but this year," he looked to his side facing four adult men who were beside him. "A few of my best student will be teaching you your routines."
I saw the man from yesterday, Monarchy, amongst those men.
"As you exit the building there will be the name of your coach and your practice hours." As soon as he finished talking, everyone got really loud and started to talk. The amount of people there overwhelmed me and I began to feel anxious. "Come on, Bernadette," Lyrical said pulling me by the arm."Let's see who you got." We quickly walked toward the exit of the center and went to the wall with advertisements and flyers. I gasped in excitement. "We're doing a group and couples, together!" Lyrical's face wasn't exactly happy.
