"So you are not into casual sex? Fine I will put on a tux and we can call it formal." FDR said suggestively at me wiggling his eyebrows.
That's when I ran to our school's main gate stretching my arms appreciating my mental situation is still stable no thanks to FDR. I never ever thought in my life that I would be this happy to see the school. And my brother made me see that day; to be honest I am not really thankful for that.
"It was mean Wylie," FDR said standing next to me crossing arms over his chest. He was one to talk. I can stab him right now, that awful my journey went with them.
"Do you know that forty-five minutes was nightmare? Scratch it, the worst nightmare I will ever see in my whole life. I am talking with daddy to cancel your punishment." I placed my figure on his chest poking. He didn’t really budge with his athletic build, but a girl could dream.
"Why would you do that? I am having fun with my brother and sister." FDR said waving his hand around in the air.
I glared at him. "Why? Because I am not feeling anything near fun. Mostly violated but definitely not fun." I shook my head trying to get rid of his pick-up lines from my head. Nothing was helping, my big brother had corrupted my mind, there was no getting out of it.
"We never talk, you know. And I am happy that I got this punishment so I can spend little more time with you guys." He said with the emotionless face staring right into my eyes when he turned to Ivan before leaving his two socked siblings.
He was right but it wasn’t going to work. I hardly felt this type of emotions but his words stung me today. I was losing my charm, it’s not to be defenseless.
"Hey, you okay?" Ivan said placing his hand on my shoulder.
I brushed his hands off. "Yeah. I am fine. See you later." I started to walk. Ivan was in no mood to leave me alone anytime soon as he jogged catching up with me.
"You know he is right. We don't bond like normal brothers and sister do." I saw the hurt on his cold face. Ivan was never to talk it out loud so I was taken by surprise when he opened his bad boy mouth. Some emotions he has in him and he decides to saw me that one. "We just talk and act; but it never feels real, Wylie."
"I never noticed," I said, my paces become slower. I really never did. I always felt like an outsider with them because of us never bonding so it wasn’t any of us fault that we had grew distant from each other.
"Can't we just be normal brother and sister?" Ivan ran his hand through his brown hair. "It feels like we are living with a nerd, not a sister." Then he saw my are-you-serious face and added. "Well, you are a nerd."
"It doesn't matter," I said waving the matter away. I always did this when I felt like I was going to be attached or worse like the feeling, I ran away from the matter. " Anyways Mr. Morin is waiting for me in his office. Bye." I started to walk leaving Ivan alone.
I pushed the double door open and walked to the main office. I know it was very bad of me to talk to them like that, and anyway it's last year I want to get out of this town as soon as possible.
We were early. I still got twenty minutes before classes start. I didn't stop to my locker; first I will meet Mr. Morin as he wants some help. I knocked on the door before entering. There were two girls standing near Mr. Morin's table. Both blond, one with curly and other with straight; ooh we have twin Barbies this year. They were looking stunning in a pink dress; showing perfect curve and long legs. I gave them smile. I knocked on Mr. Morin's able to get his attention.
"Oh. Good morning Wylie. How's my favorite girl's summer going?" He asked giving me his ear to ear smile. My summer wasn't as boring as everybody says.
"It was great Mr. Morin. I volunteered for children orphan. It was the best time of my life." I answered. I smiled thinking about the days I spend with those little kids.
"That's great kid. I am really proud of you." He stuffed some papers in a file then turned to me again. "Well, there are new students enrolled this year. I already asked other none-sociable flies to show them around and make them feel welcome."
"That's amazing."
"So as our school's none-sociable fly you have to guide new students too." My face dropped at those words. Not again. Our principal is on that thing again. He wants to make this school some social get together place where we can make beautiful memories with our fellow students. He has these list of most unsocial kids and he actually does everything to make us unsociable kids to a mixer with others.
"Here is Ms. Taylors.". He then checked something on the file he was holding. "Two students are running late." He looked up smiling sheepishly.
"I will come back after showing them their classes around." I don't want to. It's the toughest job in the word. And it's frustrating to walk two times by same class you have first in few minutes and not to enter.
"Thank you so much, Wylie." He smiled then turned to two sisters, giving them their schedules. I said bye to Mr. Morin.
I guided them to their lockers, gym, classes, labs, music room; overall everything. They just followed without uttering a word. And I think that was nice; don't ask why but it was nice. Just one thing that was irritating me was their stilettos. It was making that tick-tick noise. I was beyond happy when we came to their class.
"This is your first class biology." I turned around and smiled.
"Oh thank god." The curly blond said.
"Seriously girl." The straight blond said pointing her perfectly manicured finger at me. "It was last time you talked with us. I don't want you even near me. It was pathetic you know to walk with some looser." They gave me disgusting look and stormed off into class to talk with more sophisticated people. I didn't even know their names. Bummer.
See that's why I don't like to be the guide of Redwood High. But I love my teachers; they do so much for us students so at least I can help them with little things. With this great motto of life, I turned towards Mr. Morin's office to insult myself again in front of more new students. I think I am giving an invitation to new students to mud-slinging me.
When I reached to the office and was about to push open the door a cheery voice came from behind me.
"Are you Wylie?"
