Aliyah groaned as he woke up, his head was pounding, his wings were throbbing and to make matters worse, his arms and legs were bound to his bed. He looked around his room. There was an annoying beeper and few other machines that he was hooked up to, he as also hooked up to a bag filled with a strange clear liquid. He knew it wasn’t water because water was blue and the liquid was not blue. The walls were white, his sheets were white, his clothes were white. What was with all the white? Just then his door opened and a man came in. He was wearing a long white coat and thick rimmed glasses, he was carrying a clipboard that had a few papers attached to it. He grabbed a chair and moved it so it was next to Aliyah’s bed. He crossed his legs, grabbed a pen from his coat and looked straight at Aliyah.
He couldn’t understand a word of what he was saying.
Aliyah knew this was going to end tragically , without his translator he would never be able to talk to anyone. He was going to be homeless, alone and hungry. He almost started to cry.
Once the man discovered that Aliyah couldn’t understand him, he wrote something down and left the room. Aliyah let out a breath of relief, thankful the man had left. He heard murmurs outside his door. It sounded like a very heated argument and it appeared that the loudest one was losing. After it had died down another man walked into his room. He had curly brown hair, red glasses and three eyes. It had been a while since he’d seen a physic or even a telepath but he knew why they were here. The man sat on the chair next to his bed, his third eye opened.
