Cold air blows in my face as I quickly crossed the street.
"Bernadette, stop." I hear Lyrical say behind me, "You really are sensitive. Come on, I'll drive you home." Lyrical said petting my head.
"You're not allowed to drive by yourself, anyway..." I said lowly.
As I sat in the car, I yawned. "Oh no! I didn't do my homework yet! Now I'm sleepy!" I cried.
"Idiot. Why did you come out here if you were worried about that?" Lyrical said, looking at me as if I was stupid. He put his car into reverse. I went to sleep as soon as we pulled off. While I was sleeping, I felt someone pick me up. while feeling my body lift up, I peeped open my eyes and saw that it was Florence. He put me in my bed then leaves. As I went back to sleep the last thing I heard was,
"Where on earth is Bonnie?"
--------------------------------------------------------
While preparing for school, I did my homework, while brushing my teeth, while putting on my outfit, and while eating pancakes. At the breakfast table, Bonnie was on her phone.
"Omg! You should see what she's wearing right now! She looks like a new born baby!" I could tell she was talking about me. I was wearing our school uniform with candy color bracelets, a cupcake shaped packpack, and had my hair done in twin-tails. I thought I looked cute, but I guess not. I couldn't wait for Saturday, so Bonnie and I could be friends, again. ( that week we were gonna watch season 1 of Pretty Face! Straight through!) Lyrical runs down stairs and grabs a pancake with his hand, holding his phone in the other.
"We have practice today." Lyrical said while chewing his pancake.
"Us? For realz?!" I asked.
"Yes, us, and stop saying ' for realz" Lyrical said irritably, "It's weird."
--------------------------------------------------------
"Move carefully." Monarchy hissed. I had slipped on my butt while the rest of the groups skated along with what he had said. He came towards me and looked down at me while sitting on my butt after a fall. "How is it, miss Bernadette, that you fall with out fail during the group routine, but in your single routine you are nearly flawless?" Monarchy asked me looking quite annoyed.
"Um... I'm-"
"She's never done a routine in groups before," Lyrical said.
I blushed.
"Continue to make mistakes and I may have to cut you all from the entire night." Monarchy said.
Lyrical pulled me up by my arm and hissed. "Stop making so many @$##ing mistakes!" I shivered at his vulgar language. "Unlike us, some of the people here only have this one show to be present to Victoria... Don't be selfish." I lower my head. "S-sorry." I said sincerely.
"Start from the beginning!"
"Monarchy isn't even that much older than us," I think to myself as an attempt to vent, "We're sixteen and he's like twenty-eight probably, so there's not much of a difference between us and him." After practice, everyone always goes to him and gushes over him. "I really think we will do all perfect shows this year!" Someone says.
"Of course!" Monarchy said. "With I as your coach, most of you will succeed." Monarchy said. And that was the day I realized he was pride at it's finest. And why his name is Monarchy, he acts as if he's royalty! He always had his head up high and looked down at me all the time... Did he think he was all that, because he's Mr. Armstrong's son? When everyone was gone I stayed for a while longer to cold down after such a long practice session.
"You may be not be confident, but I really see your strong points," I turn around while skating and it was Monarchy. "I think you truly are talented, unfortunately you don't see it, do you?" I looked at my feet. "Come here after school on Monday." He said as he left.
He didn't ask. He commanded.

Saturday, came and Bonnie and I watched episode 17 of Pretty Face! Bonnie and I love that a scene on that episode because it's night at a carnival and they are standing beside an abandoned stand. "Aw...This episode is sooooo cute!" I said to Bonnie. 11:47 Bonnie got sleepy so she went to sleep; I felt lonely in my room so I slept in her bed. Bonnie almost always leaves her window ajar, which makes me tempted to look out of it. Seeing the street lights and the couples taking late night walks and watching people walk their dogs makes my chest feel light and makes butterflies in my tummy. Not the scared acid bleeding ones, the cute love-sick ones, with wings that are made of clouds and spill glitter inside my body. Those butterflies make me blush and put me in a daze. Unfortunately, my butterflies stopped for a moment. I saw lyrical sneak out the front door! I grabbed my knit blanket and tip-toed down stairs. My heart raced, because I couldn't help but think Lyrical was secretly a drug-dealer or worse! I followed him out the door.
