"Lyrical!" I called. He turned around wearing a heavy coat, and moaned,
"What do you want?"
"Where are you g-going?"
Lyrical's eyebrows narrowed. "I'm going to practice at the center." Lyrical replied.
"Really? At midnight?"
"How else am I suppose to get better?" He said as he left the house.
I then realize something obvious.
---------------------------------------------------
"I need to try harder, at everything!" I said at breakfast.
"What do you mean, darling?" My mother asked as she poured Lyrical's milk into his cereal, while dranking a glass of Orange juice,
"At skating, at baking, at school, and at making friends! Everything that's important to any teenager!" I said.
"You're not most teenagers, Bernadette," Bonnie said while she texts on her phone. "Trust me."
I pouted as I warmed up a pizza pocket, then sat at the table. "Be supportive, please!" Florence said, with a gentle feminine flare. "Speaking of supportive..." My mother said smiled awkwardly. "After school, your mother and I have an announcement to make..." Florence drifted off, "Just so you three are mentally prepared..." My Mother and Florence giggled like two teenage girls.
"What? Someone has a crush on me or something?" Lyrical asked sarcastically. They giggled even more girlish. "What do you think they're talking about?" I asked as we leave for school,
"Probably, something stupid. You know how they are sometimes." Lyrical said opening the door for us. "Like eleven year old girls..." Bonnie sneered. "Yeah...so it's like, whatever." Lyrical said.

On Sundays, Bonnie and I have baking class. I don't usually practice on Sundays, but I really needed the extra practice that week.
"Good morning, everyone." Chase said. He was wearing a chief coat.
"Chocolate shapes." Chase said. Everyone looks confused. Chase opened a bag filled with cookie cutters and aluminum foil. Everyone suddenly giggled and were like,
"Oh...now I get it!"
Chase smirked. "Yup! After we make cupcakes, we'll put our chocolate adornments on the top!"
I giggled a little at Chase's insanely contagious enthusiastic attitude. Due to how slow I was being, Chase helped me a little too much. I tried to make a heart, but failed, but when Chase helped me, for the third time, and it was cute! After the chocolate project, we make cupcakes. I thought I did pretty good. My pan had four cupcake holders so I made one for me, one for Chase, one for My mother and one for Monarchy (just so he'll stop hating me). They looked pretty good!
"Good job, Bernadette! So cupcakes are your ace, huh?"
I laughed a little. Chase is weird! But there's something really cool about that.
"Why's she getting so much help, today?" I heard someone say. "He probably feels sorry for her!" They said quietly. I turn around, and sure enough, it was Yalonda, Amanda and Bonnie and everyone.
Ignoring them I gave Chase the cupcake, "H-here..." I mumbled.
"Thanks. No one has ever given me there sweets before." Chase's face was pink within seconds.
"Here, Chase! I made you a cupcake, too!" Some girl yelled. Suddenly everyone surrounded him like a bunch of flies, which was annoying me, but it was okay, because my cupcake said 'Chase' and other girls cupcakes said 'BFFs' and 'Ethan' and other names other than Chase. Even Bonnie did it! I could tell Chase felt extremely awkward, but he ate my cupcake then said "Good job, you guys..."
-------------------------------------------------------------------
"What is this for?" Monarchy asked me. I gave him the cupcake as soon as I saw him. I was too shy to say ' Here, you go' or 'I made this for you'. Monarchy chuckled. "Flattery will not keep you a spot here." I frowned.
"I-I'm not...!"
"Thank you."
He said with a half smile. Was he joking or was he realz? Despite my confusion, I practiced super hard for like four hours and I was sleepy. "Your tired?" Monarchy asked me as I landed on my knees after coming off the ice.
"N-no! I mean...I-" I murmured. Monarchy just shakes his head in disgust then leaves. "I need to try harder." I think, giving him a glare.

Once again, I was walking home by myself, not that I mined, but negative thoughts always seem to attack me at these times. Suddenly I hear bike chains, so close and loud it sounded like the bike was beside me. "Bernadette," I covered my eyes, because he startled me. "Why are you walking like that?" Chase laughed. "How do you mean?" I asked still covering my face.
"With your purse in front of you and your head down. You scared of something?" Chase asked looking a little worried. I stopped and looked at him with a serious face. "Ah... I kinda always walk like this...Chase, how do you talk to people so naturally? Why aren't you shy at all?" I asked with my voice shaking. "I feel shy sometimes," Chase said smiling. "When ever I feel nervous, go forward with my head up high. Its not that hard."
