Y/N’S POV :

i stood in the med jack hut tidying and making beds as i finished a bed i turned around and jumped as i sore newt directly behind me “wow, you scared me” i say giving him a hug and he hugs me tightly too

“sorry i didn’t mean to make you jump” he says keeping my tightly in his arms but looking at me i feel like he wants to kiss me and i expect it i know he has a crush on me minho told me so i happily let him hold me tightly and i see him glance to my lips so i smile just waiting for him to make his move and just as he leans in to kiss me “Y/N! come quick we need your help” Jeff says bursting though the door

“ive got to go, see you later okay” i say pulling away

“yeah sure” he replies before i run off to help Jeff out

much later that day i sat in the deadheads relaxing on my break till newt sat beside me “hey y/n” he says happily sitting beside me

“hey newt” i smile happily shuffling closer to him we sat chatting about nothing of any real importance till he yawns and moves to have his arm around me so i smile and move to lean on his shoulder and we sat happily for a little while till he move to look at me a massive smile on his face and i can tell hes looking to kiss me so i smile more and he begins to lean in to kiss me

“HEY LOVE BIRDS” minho says coming from behind the tree next to us

“what do you want minho” newt sighs as we move apart and he retracts his arm from around me

“whats going “ thomas asks coming beside minho

“they where about to make out” minho laughs

“we were not!” we both shout

“but anyway, sorry to interrupt the foreplay before the sex, but meeting come on newt” thomas says

“alright” he sighs getting up “i will see you later y/n”

“see you” i reply before he goes off with thomas and minho so i kept to myself for a while as i knew it was a bonfire just staying in the bonfire until newt comes back and sits with me for a while without saying much “how was it?” i ask

“okay, i guess” he answers moving a bit of stray hair behind my ear looking to kiss me making me giggle a bit before he leans in but “ouch” he says pulling away and i notice a apple from the tree hit his head

“aw newt are you okay?” i ask

“yeah fine just kinda hurt” he says rubbing his head where the apple hit him i grab the apple and take a bite from it and we laugh before he gets up but looks like hes gonna fall over “way wow your not okay newt, i think you should go see Clint and Jeff” i tell him

“the world is spinning, and i may throw up, yeah im go see the guys” he says slowly wondering off

after dinner I sat up at the watch tower looking at the stars and I hear someone coming up the ladder “hey y/n” I hear newt say as he sits beside me so I move close to him and rest my head on him as I look up and the stars for what felt like forever till “uh y/n” he says nervously “Yeah newt?” “Please don’t be mad at me” he says “Why would I be mad at you” I ask sitting up “what are you gonna-” I begin before he kisses me it was soft and sweet and like being in heaven I can’t help moving my hands to his neck and he moves his to my waist till we pull away “you’ve been trying to do that all day haven’t you” I laugh “All day? I’ve been trying for three weeks y/n, I just kept being to scared or getting interrupted” he explains “Well finally” I smile pulling him into another kiss …
