Y/N POV :

i sat in a bar in London drinking a beer with my best mate thomas both of us a little tipsy as he just lost his girlfriend so we went out drinking it was fun we where giggling about time back at school when we sat with each other in math class discussing star wars “do you think…if i had not failed classes i would be doing something less with my life?” he asks me

“i dont know, maybe tommy, maybe not” i answer

“do you think i would be married by now if i had gone to prom with that prat that asked me out” i ask

“properly not, he would have fucked you on prom night and that would have been it between you” he explains

“true” i sigh “I wish i could go back and live in that time” i sigh

“yeah.. but what can you do?” he says before getting up “Im off home, see you later”

“see ya” i reply as he goes after finishing my drink i pay and head home too and almost completely went to sleep….when i got up i remember the long lists of jobs i had for the day including clearing my grandfathers stuff out the attic so i go up sporting box after box after box of tech junk till i find what looked like a vault tech bracelet i thought it looked really cool so i put it on and messed around with it a bit till it asked me to select a time to visit i was confused but put in a random number date and within seconds the world was changed i looked down to more carefully see the year date and i was back in 2005 and i was a teenager like i was back then…i was in my home and i realised i had to go to school so in disbelief i wondered around the school as if going to class so confused as i got to my lesson i sore all my old class mates like they where back then so i went and sat in my seat looking at my math sheet already knowing this stuff as i am a full adult i understand algebra so i quickly finish it

“how the hell did you do that?” i hear i turn and see thomas sat beside me looking just like he did back in 2005

“i..uh….i dont know” i answer with a giggle aww he looked so cute back then

“ok..can i have help then?” he asks and i giggle and happily help him as we chat “so ….uh…its gonna be prom soon” he says out of the blue

“yeah….i am defiantly going i just dont have anyone to go with” i say as i remember it i didnt go and i sat at home feeling sorry for myself but i think this time i will go and see if anything changes

“oh…well…uh…how about …uh going with me?” he asks

“uh sure” i answer

i then see my device starts beeping and within seconds im back in my house back in the attic obviously something changed with me agreeing to go with him so i went back into my house and like it had alot more items in it which is odd seeming that i live alone “hey darling” i hear behind me i turn to see thomas stood only in his underwear

“wow! thomas put some clothes on” i yell

“why? its nothing you’ve never seen before” he smirks at me giving me a kiss on the cheek before wondering off to my bedroom where i see him thankfully putting on pants

“this may be a stupid question…but what the hell are you doing here?” i ask

“what are you going on about ? strangely i live here” he says confused why im asking him

“what!? why do you live here?” i ask

“y/n i think you need to sit down” he says pushing me on my bed forcing me to sit down

“just calmly explain to me what the hell is going on? why your living with me? just what the hell?” i ask very confused

“well i have lived here since we bought this place together love…and nothings going on not today anyway….so i though we would just sit around like we normally do and maybe later…you know” he explains before beging to lightly kiss my neck then kissing my lips passionately before i push him away

“ your acting like weve never done that before?” he asks

“yeah sorry” i say a bit confused

“are you sure your okay?” he asks

“yeah just lost” i answer before i look around trying to find anything useful to what on earth is going on here before i notice two rings on my hand oh your kidding me…i changed the past by one little detail and now im fucking married to my best friend

“dear god…your my husband?” i ask

“have been for three whole years now sweetie” he says hugging me from behind giving my neck little kisses

“I need a shower” i say getting up i need to clear my head so i go into the bathroom and lock the door standing in the shower trying to work out what on earth is happening now i understand all those movies and TV shows “dont fucking mess with time travel” i say hitting my head on the wall
