i sat on my chair with a small glass of wine in my hand looking out the window of my family’s home i was an Adams and very proud to be i happen to be Wednesdays youngest daughter, and tonight is a big night we were having one of a huge family party’s and tonight i was announcing my engagement i was very worried about what my family would think.

“y/n, where is this boy of yours?” my grandmother says

“im not sure, he’ll be here soon” i reply just as i hear a motor bike outside “that will be him now” i smile happily

“lerch get the door” my mother says from atop the stairs and lerch opens the door

“tommy” i say happily wrapping my arms around his neck

“darling” he says happily wrapping an arm around my waist and kissing me

“aww caramiea do you remember when we were like that” my grandfather says making me giggle looking at most of my close family stood all starting at thomas, i could see how scared he was of them all

“are they vampires?” he asks me

“no relax” i whisper back “everyone this is thomas my boyfriend” i smile happily my mother doesnt look impressed none of my family really did.

“everyone thank you all for coming tonight to our party, tonight has been a amazing night, so a toast, to new arrivals, those who have departed us, to strong ageing love, and new love” my grandfather toasts and everyone raises there glasses

“i have an announcement” i say as soon as everyone had finished “i have to say that well thomas isnt exactly my boyfriend, were engaged” i smile and they all cheer happily
